Simply amazing
I had no problem or bugs with this game. Played on and old PC with GeForce 980Ti. Running perfectly smooth on 3k resolution. The story and characters are great!

2.0 is what 1.0 should have been
2.0 is far superior to 1.0... but 2.0 should have been the basis upon which CDPR would later release 3.0 which would further improve the base game. Instead, the game has been tightened up substantially. (It really is better in a lot of ways.) But there are also fewer choices in character design-- before the monowire made sense for a reflex based character-- a monowire that could slice up anything it passes through-- you'd need good reflexes for that. Now, it's tied to intelligence. I mean, it's fine... they created some cohesive and well rounded cookie cutter character builds with the redesign, and that makes the on-road journey so much better for the 'average player.' But if you go offroad, or even into a poorly maintained neighborhood with too many pot holes, you start to notice the lack of suspension in your vehicle. I don't regret buying Cyberpunk 2077. But this entire experience takes a bit of the shine off my love for CDPR. And, unfortunately, the decisions in Phantom Liberty make me even more cautious about purchasing from CDPR in the future.

The changes since release have been incredible. My biggest criticism with the game at launch was the low interactivity with the game world, and that has been hugely iterated on now with vehicle combat, a good police system, minigames around the world, random events like gangs fighting and chasing each other down in vehicles followed by cops. The world feels so much more alive now than it did back on release. And the phantom liberty DLC goes even further with quests that have more choices and consequences and an amazing story.
