Game is phenomenal, you guys did great. Except all the bugs. Had to start new game after putting in 10hrs already, because I couldn't get Delamain off my screen when he called. Wouldn't allow me to access missions. I was pretty much dead in the waters so to speak. I give it 5 star rating definitely deserves that. Hoping you guys come out with a patch soon enough. I'd hate to lose interest in it.
I want to preface this by saying my game was full of graphical bugs. Then I updated my drivers and they all disappeared. Using a 1070 at 1080p with settings mostly maxed, have 40-60 fps which is fine for me. I have a feeling a lot of the people complaining are either using old drivers, or old hardware. Either way it's their fault.
The game itself is great. I'm 8 hours in, and I can't wait to play more. It's a big rough around some of the edges, but I honestly think people are so jarred by bugs because the rest of the game's presentation is absolutely incredible. I can't put into words how amazing the presentation and level of detail is. The gameplay is great. On very hard I'm having a blast killing guys. The city looks small at first, but once you start driving around it it's actually very large. The cyberpunk aesthetic is spot on, exactly how I pictured the sprawl in Neuromancer in my head. Voice acting is great, I had my qualms about Keanu at first but he's perfect as Johnny. My biggest complain really is that promotional material for the game heavily spoil certain parts. You'll see what I mean.
So anyways, take all reviews whining about bad performance with a grain of salt, unless you have an old pc.
The controls took some getting used to and I encountered a couple minor graphical gllitches (Cars parked on a slope stay horizontal so either one end hangs in the air or sinks in the ground stuff like that). It's running surprisingly good on my 4 to 5 year old hardware and looks pretty good at that. So far I played over 12 hours and only barely started the main story because there is just too much to do even in the intro area. A game I'm probably gonna sink hundreds of hours into.
version 1.03. after 6 hours of gameplay no bugs at all. I play it on Geforce now.
+game is amazing.
+beautiful graphics, with RTX
-strange driving. I keep killing bystanders by car.
- sometimes there is a problem with lightning in the rooms. It is so dark.
-I hate collecting all the loot manually. At least there is no confirmation window like in the wither 3, where I had to use a mod.
In and all
I am completely happy with product.
I recommend it to anyone who likes sci-fi. Deus ex, dishonored.
