Very enjoyable. there are nuissances

The elephant in the room: It is buggy, but not to the extent I heard in some other reviews. Bugs are constant, but not game breaking (Just remember. If you start a fight for a mission, never leave the area without completing it, or you risk from necessary corpses to despawn and mission will never be able to finish) -Pros: -Game history is amazing and well written (prepare for depressing endings tho, but there are multiple) -Voice acting is A+ -Guns feel amazing to shoot, and you have many styles to play with, from melee, automatic, handguns... -Graphics are gorgeous -Music and sound is excellent -Material follows very closely the original roleplaying books for cybeprunk (Yes, they even included Mr studd: All night, every night and she' ll never know. They respected the source material and Jergon) -Driving: Very good Cons: -Many Many graphical glitches, like NPC T posing, low res textures stuck into cars and NPC till 3-4 seconds you hit them (seems to be less common with Nvidia cards). This seem to happen at random. -Some other glitches, like dialogs for picking up objects not dissapearing, NPC voices not sounding during dialogs... all those force you to quicksave and reload to go away, but sometimes you need to exit the game and start again. -At least one mission couldn' t be completed because a body despawned and couldn' t get a key item for that mission. -Keybindings.... I can' t even count how many times I was croutching and a dialog started. While trying to get up the dialog skipped (crouch and skip dialog keys are the same). Missed some important stuff this way (reload again). Another thing which I found near impossible is to holster weapons. You need to double tap alt for it. Works around 2% of the time. -Never hide bodies in the back of the van. They just teleport out and alert enemies That say I am below recommended specs and the game always ran silky smooth at medium, so I never experienced the

80s Cyberpunk Fun

Loved the game, great looking, great story and characters and the aesthetic felt like a blend of Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Blade Runner, Robocop and Dredd. All the vehicles have that cool 80s interpretation of the future. The gunplay is great reminds me of borderlands with the amount of loot drops from enemies the hacking aspect was a really cool touch as well. Campaign and all side quests took me around 80 hours to complete. I'm giving it 5/5 just because I enjoyed it so much but there are some glaring bugs that didn't break the game or quests but were distracting in certain scenes. I played this on the v1.06 patch so that's how my first play through went I look forward to picking this up again and do a second play through once it's had some new updates.

CDPR has vision, but DAMN CORPOS!!

First of all my PC specs: Intel® Core™ i7-8750H NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB GDDR6 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz (no SSD for me) I have to mention that I had no performance issues or crashes. All you need to now, that I'm a huge fan of Philip K. Dick, William Gibson, Masamune Shirow, as for video games Deux Ex is one of my favourite, so Cyberpunk 2077 is a hit for me. I've finished my first playthrough, it took approximately 90 hours. According to the achievements I've finished all gigs and NCPD scanner hustles as well as all side quest I could find. I've enjoyed every minute of Night City. The game is definitely rough around the edges and lacks a lot of promised features, but I can't remember the last time I dropped everything else for a week just to concentrate on one game. I try to gather all the pros and cons, but no promises. :) Pros: - The overall story is great and very immersive. - The main characters are well done. - People claim the open world is empty. That's absurd. You can't drive a single street without finding a new side quest or gig along the way to your destinations. - Night City is beautiful, well-designed. The devs definitely poured their heart and soul into it. - Great voice acting (haven't played the female V yet, but heard it's not the best) - Large variety of great tunes. Music, soundtracks 11/10. - Side quest you shouldn't miss: Chippin' In, Heroes, Dream On, Coin Operated Boy, The Prophet's Song, Burning Desire, Losing My Religion, Epistrophy/Don’t Lose Your Mind, Sinnerman/They Won't Go When I Go etc. CONS, missing features or things I think would make the game better: - Lifepaths and lifepath specific dialogue options don't influence the story in a meaningful way - Most, lets say about 3/4 of Bars/Restaurants/Shops/Vendors are devoid of any interaction - NCPD Crimes events and gigs need more variety - In-game Character/Weapon/ Vechile customization. Crafting is a bland inventory screen. - Mission BUGS! (Visual bugs can wait.) I could go on!

I actually like it

I've played the Cyberpunk pen&paper back in the days, so being able to stroll through Night City feels very satisfying to me. The city strangely feels more alive to me here than in other sandbox games of that kind, even though there's less NPC interaction and such known from other established franchises. Yes, it's mostly a stage for a story here, but one that actually benefits from its more confined bounds in my eye. Bigger, wider and more not always is better, I learned that from games like Skyrim and the latest GTA installment. Maybe it's because I'm oldschool looking at it as being an adventure, where the story matters the most and having too many options for getting sidetracked easily gets you off the rails and out of the flow of the story being told. Yes, there's still a lot of polish to be done, but being used to games as far as back to the 90s may have helped me to look over that without breaking immersion for me. The writing and presentation are top notch from my POV, and that's what matters to me the most here. It's also true that a couple of systems aren't as fleshed out and straight forward as I've liked them to be on PC (that's the usual crux when games are developed for same day realease on consoles as well). But after switching from mouse/keyboard to controller, I really don't mind. I'm pretty sure that the game simply had to come out in that form right now to have a chance on living at all. Another shift could have been its death financally. I mean, it's a huge complicated project, and I really hope that it has enough success to live long enough for CD to polish it up to become what they wanted it to be. Because, against common belief, no developer wants to release a bad nor unfinished product. And in a perfect world, that wouldn't happen. Personally, I had no technical problems yet and surprisingly can play on Ultra settings, even though I'm running on an older rig (i7-4770K, just updated with SSD and a GTX 1070)
