Nice gameplay
Just the garbage hand to hand mechanics in the beat on the brat quests make me wish I never started playing this.

Delayed Gratification
I made the mistake of pre-ordering Cyberpunk 2077 based on the hype. I tried it very briefly and shelved it for a year and a half. Since update 1.5 I have started playing it again. I have only seen two significant bugs since. The first involved a required early quest where you could not talk to the person to progress. Nothing I did worked except for loading a previous save. The second bug was worse. It was after the 1.52 patch and I had some issue where everything I did would crash the game. As a last resort I uninstalled and reinstalled and that seemed to work and my saves were still there. With those issues aside the game story is great. The progression has a sense of urgency but you can stray off the main path without issue. Initially the city is kind of overwhelming with much of it looking the same and the only thing to do is to follow your quest markers. As you spend more time in the game though the different regions seem to take more shape and landmarks start becoming recognizable. Getting around by vehicle sucks. As driving in this game is atrocious at least on PC. Shifting the camera to 3rd person helps somewhat but this is definitely not the games highlighted functionality. Combat is enjoyable enough though I am not great at this kind of thing and ran the game on easy. Ultimately I probably could bump it up a notch after some practice but this game for me is all about an interactive story. Just about all 4 of the stars given are because I enjoyed the run through V's crazy story in Night City. I completed it in 64 hours with much of the side quests explored. I do have to say though all of my good will is burned up. I will not pre-order another CD Projekt Red title again. I will wait for the real reviews after release going forward.

Forced Online DRM on consoles
This game goes against everything CD Projekt pretends to stand for. They act like they care about offline DRM free gaming but if you try and buy a physical copy of this game and play it without an internet connection you will have a miserable expierence, it's the forced online DRM everyone loves, now coming from pretty much the last AAA publisher that pretended to be against all that. CD Projekt and GoG seem to be in a terrible place right now, I'd imagine it's primarily because of this game and hitman 3 being on Gog ruining any good reputation they had.

A Great Game. Thank You, CD PROJEKT RED!
Great story, great mechanics, great everything. Some of the most loyal and hardworking game developers I have ever witnessed. CP2077 is a lot like Nickelback. They hate it because everyone else does! Everyone is too nitpicky about everything nowadays. It's like hop off the bandwagon and form your own opinion. Honestly a great game if you look past the bugs. Yes there are a lot of bugs but the customers are 100% to blame. These fools kept pushing and pushing to have the unfinished game released like they thought that would instantly finish the game. Well they got what they wanted. They got the game released and then they cried like little babies. IT WAS AN UNFINISHED GAME, IS THIS NOT WHAT YOU WANTED?!?! I mean what did they expect? I see a lot of people talk smack about CP2077 but no one ever talks about how the devs have been working non-stop for the last 2 years since release to fix everything. Update after update, free dlc after free dlc. They have gone above and beyond trying to make things better. And I honestly, truly appreciate it. I mean the game has been released, it's playable from beginning to end, and the devs are still releasing updates to try and polish it. Say what you want about CP2077, but you have got to admit, they are dedicated. I've seen them do more work on this game in a month than most developers do on their games in 5 years. The biggest thing of all: THEY ARE DOING IT FREE OF CHARGE! Most developers wouldn't even put half as much work into paid dlcs. I mean CD PROJEKT RED got their money, if they completely abandoned CP2077 right now it wouldn't even make a difference for them. They choose to make things better. So thank you CD PROJEKT RED. I appreciate all your hard work!
