I ain't giving CDPR a pass

Sorry but this game is still a dissappointment even after all the fixes. It is still a janky mess at times and driving feels so terrible in this game, it's worse than the just cause games. CDPR straight up lied out the gate when this game launched and now they want sympathy for fixing the game years later and what is most alarming is that so many people just fell hook line and sinker and now they love CDPR and say this game is a masterpiece what a load of BS! This game should never be forgotten for how much of a disaster it was and how CDPR showed their true colors and even years later the game is still missing features that were promised from before it launched. Stop giving developers a free pass because they fix their games years later and straight up lie about their game before it releases. I know for a fact had this game come from any other big studio like EA or Ubisoft it would still be getting review bombed and hated years later but because it is CDPR they somehow get a free pass. Sorry not sorry this game is still mid af.

Modern day Deus Ex

My first review of the game was not favoruable. The introductionary part of the game (before the first big mission, you'll know it when you get there) was not good in my opinion. Howere, once the game gets going it i very good indeed. Not perfect by any means, but I would describe it as a true, modern successor to the original Deus Ex. And that's about as high a praise as I can think of.

Now, it is fixed.

Today, writing 4 years after its premiere, I can honestly recommend it to anyone who is still hesitating, not only because most of the bugs have been fixed, but because the game is much more extensive. And the "Phantom Liberty" DLC and the additional district are what you absolutely must have. I have been waiting for it since I saw the first teaser in 2013. I bought it before the premiere and started playing it as soon as it was available. I did not have the problems described by other players, maybe because I had a PC built 2 weeks before the premiere specifically for this game, and the first crash happened to me after 300 hours of playing. After the premiere, of course, it had shortcomings that were patched later, which created new bugs. There were also bugs in the game, e.g. the famous one with the police respawning behind the character's back or NPC cars crashing into barriers. I told all those who asked me about it after the premiere to wait for patches and save up for a more powerful PC. Now I recommend it to everyone.. with a good PC. For those curious, my gear. Works without any problems, built in late 2020 for £1,100. GeForce RTX 2060 Super / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / RAM 16GB

Best purchase I've made

FFRRRIIICCKKK. It was so good. It was so hard. I can't believe I couldn't save Johnny and myself... If I hadn't fallen for Panam I would have given my body to Johnny. But I couldn't leave her and the Aldecaldos. Not after all they did to help me get into Mikoshi. Now I'm free heading out to Arizona... I'll never forget my time in NightCity. I'll never stop missing Jackie and Johnny. 2 of the best MF an choom like me could have. I'll need to take some time before I jump back into the world of Cyberpunk. Not because I'm bored, but because I'm so relived the pain is over. It's time to rest. What a fantastic game.
