Cyberpunk 2077

I didn't mind at all the bugs - it was fine, the game looked amazing at realease. But I could barely stand it. The WRITING. It is SOY all the way to the core. It is not adult: rather a teenage girls attempt at sounding adult. Or a 30-something-year-old female liberal arts graduate's idea of "hard-boiled". Endless posturing and emotional validation. After the incredible experienceds of the Witcher. After the morally shattering realizations of Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone. AFter so much depth and genuinely mind-blowing structure, after all these years crafting a truly magical futuristic city... I played the game through, and that is that. In the end, I am left only with a feeling of sadness at another great and inspiring beacon crumbling into the ocean of predictable mediocrity.

Graphics and storry is 5 stars. the rest 0 stars. no imersion, shitty AI, promissed content is missing, a lot of quests are cut, this game is missing really a lot of content. its only a shooter in an open world nothing more.

This is a big budget game with: 1. ...good graphics, but clearly unfinished (streets are too empty for a metropolis, distant cars are bitmaps). 2.....a good story, but the dialogues aren't fleshed out, like they were in Witcher 3. Throughout most of the dialogues I am bored. 3. ...plenty of side missions that are nothing compared to the story-twists you would expect from Witcher 3. 4....bad sound mixing. Even with good sound software and great headphones the game sounds "flat". 5.....a great world that feels lifeless. The world in Witcher 2 feels way more lively than CP2077. 6....interesting themes, but CD Project have not been brave enough in exploring them (anti-corporatism, trans-sexuality, meaning of race and racism, the destruction of indigenous populations via corporate greed, among others). Just not brave enough. Again Witcher 3 was brave in those aspects. I played through the game once, I even enjoyed it. It did grip me here and there but on the second attempt I just deinstalled it. This unfinished piece could've been a work of art.

I never completely finished the story of the game. I've gotten to the last mission where you get told that this is the end mission and I just stopped. I.... Well, I expected more. Not from the story but just from the world. Maybe Bethesda and CIG (Star Citizen) have spoiled me, but I really expected the world to be more interactable. There are things I see in the world that I feel like I should be able to just pick up but you can't. There should have been more out-of-mission Braindance content. They added a story-reason for not doing so but I feel like it was probably cut content and they just added an excuse to the story for it. Is the gameplay within the story fun? Sure. Do I feel like I'll play it again? no. There just isn't much to do outside of the missions. IF this game becomes what it truly should be, I wouldn't expect that until the end of 2023 or early 2024. A lot of stuff just feels like its missing and I think it'll take that long for CDPR to add it all in.

....sooo... heard 2077 had gotten a big update reasently, so i thought it might have gotten fixed of some of all those glitches and bugs i heard so much about when the game came out... so i load up the game for the first time aaaaand.... non-stop glitch-fest... characters talking without their lips moving, t-posing, stuff turning into N64 level graphics, all at random... so yeah i played only about 1,5 hours of them game... take that for what you will, but ill give it a nother year to see if CDproject will give it some more fixes....but given how long its been since release, i dont have high hopes :(
