Seriously LOVE the game BUT....

I bought the PS4 version, because it's impossible to play Cyberpunk 2077 on my MacBook Air 2017. I seriously LOVE the game BUT the bugs are killing me! Today it's been crashing on me 4 times already! The last bug I found was that enemies suddenly become invincible, right after I bought the rocket hand cyberware from Victor. I don't know if it was because of the said cyberware or something else, but I was doing fine hours previously. And then I loaded the savegame prior to that change, tried to find some enemies, found one, and just when I tried to kill him with my mantis ware, it crashed. Again. Then I came here to rant.

Super good.

I don't know what everybody's complaining about. This is a really fun, highly detailed game. Sure you cal level some complaints at it, but you can do that with anything. This may not be the life changing unicorn some people prophesied, but it's a fun, beautiful game with a great story. P.s. I haven't had bugs that were out of line with any other day one release. I think it's ridiculous that people are ragging on cdpr for releasing a game with LESS bugs than a AAA studio game with limitless resources.

great story and atmosphere. no real bugs

Graphics: my system specs are not the best in the world but still probably higher tier : i7-10700K, 32GB, 2070 Super. The game is installed on an SSD. I run it at 50-70fps@1080 on *ultra* with RTX on, and it looks great (though I'm a bit disappointed that my own body doesn't get its own reflection:( Gameplay: I'm playing on Hard, as a streetkid, with autoaim off. Experience told me that games which are also released on consoles tend to be on the easier side when it comes to Enemy AI, so I generally go for higher difficulty by default. From what I read this might have been a good choice, as the AI, whilst not stellar, really isn't bad and can have some nice moves and tactics. The Night-City citizen's AI is pretty generic, but useable. At least the amount of people on the streets is generous and the city feels lived in. The game is very much like the Witcher serie, with an open world you are free to explore but with a main story line which keeps pulling you back on the rail from time to time. This might sound bad, but it avoids the Elder-Scroll effect in which you go from side-quest to side-quest, ignore the main story and end up 1000 of hours in without having seen a tenth of the actual story. The story itself (so far ... I just entered Act2) is true to the Cyberpunk world, and the characterization of the protagonists (anot not only V) is particularly well done, with QTE-dialogues giving you the ability to steer discussions and replies in different ways if you react fast enough. I ended up caring for some of the characters much more than I anticipated. Audio: spoken lines are delivered perfectly (english version), nothing spectacular but serviceable rest. Bugs: two flying ashtrays and one video phonecall not showing up after a reload. Oh ... and about 20 seconds of spoken lines during a quest "cutscene" in a braindance place being silent (thanks to the subtitles this wasn't too annoying). That's it after 17 hours. I've seen *much* worse. tl;dr:I'd buy it again.

the best thing to come out of 2020

first off. i love this game. i love thecity the story judy is arguably my favrite character played the game beat the main story it was really fun an the side quest are just as good as the main quest cause they lead to new stories i like that my choices and how i spec my V has an impact on the turn out. the game has its bugs it needs better optimization as of 12/14/2020 but i trust CDPROJEKTRED they have never game us reason not too. they will fix what needs to be.this game is worth its price an than some if you're reading this. before buying. get the GOG version. support the company

Not GTA2077--it's better than that

I don't normally review, but I thought I should share my thoughts on 2077. Most of my play time has been through the Steam client, so I could keep track of my FPS while I tweak settings. Don't expect "GTA 2077," Which it seems like a lot of people were looking for. No, there's no mini games. Instead, it's a giant world packed with indavidually crafted missions. Even the normally typical "fetch" and "kill this guy" quests are unique, with multiple ways to go through them, and each are well written and memorable. And there are literally hundreds of them. The main story is epic. Their focus clearly went into the writing and quests more than the mechanics of random citizens and trafffic jams, and I'm fine with that. The combat starts out "good enough" with both melee and guns, but starts to feel better and better as you level up and get more perks. Hacking is fun. There are definately bugs, but they're getting fixed, and I've come across none that are game breaking. Sometimes "fairly rarely, in my experience so far), the AI does just kind of stop in a fight, but most enemies do indeed run, shoot, find cover, etc. Despite the imperfections, I'm giving 5 stars because the good parts are just that good. They sit with me when I'm not playing, and it's been years since I've forgone sleep so I can play a game just a little bit more. I don't know who the people are who say "it's not an RPG," because I've been playing TTRPGs, including CP2020, for over 30 years. This is one of the best CRPGs ive played, and it's only going to get better in time.
