Cyberpunk 2077

My expectations were high for this game which usually leads me to disapointment but Cyberpunk delivered. It's a very immersive and beautiful game. I love the cyberpunk aesthetic. As a fan of shows like Blade Runner and Altered Carbon I couldn't ask for more in a game. The basic game loop plays much like GTAV with looting similar to Dying Light. And a few new mechanics like Brain Dancing. The only bug's I've seen at launch were very minor graphical glitches that rarely popped up. Nothing game breaking or frustraiting. Some people will complain about anything so I'd disregard any ratings below 3 stars unless they simply couldn't play the game for some reason. It's only a game but it's a damn good one.

Incredibly ambitious game that almost succeeds in all the promises given. If you don't have a beefy rig, might want to wait for a few weeks of patches. But on a 2080 it runs smooth and I'm having a blast.

The game is corpo bullshit start to finish. Hard to ignore the irony of a developer who rushed a product out early in service of a cynical cash grab, while making a game about people's willingness to do anything, including the deeply irresponsible, to grab for cash and notoriety. That's not even getting into the transphobia and cop-fellation built into the game. Can't say I expected to see a Polish developer bend over for Neo-Nazis, but here we are. Bought it at half price bundled with the Witcher games. I'd be willing to give back my Witcher games to get my money back from his one. And I adored the Witcher games. It had potential. But the story misses the point of the genre, the gameplay is janky, the programming is blatantly unfinished, and all in all it's just a disappointing outing. You should've delayed it another 6 months to a year. As it is, it feels like you worshipped at the altar of Todd Howard regarding bugs, abused your programmers, and pocketed our money while laughing to the bank. Congrats. You've pissed on the last of my good will for you.
