Cyberpunk 2077

My playtime is not reflective of actual time invested, I played well into 100 hours with a bare minimum modded experience to adjust for engine instability and now my device is not suitable for playing at proper framerate with the 2.0 update, but my time before this point was well worth the purchase of around $36 USD. Tl;DR: Outside of strenuous system requirements this is one of the definitive roleplaying titles of a generation alongside other genre titans such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance in both it's scope and scale. Some caveats as of present day -Controller is the preferred input of the developers, be prepared to invest a few minutes in rebinding controls on a keyboard. -8GB of VRAM is a bare minimum requirement imo, any GPU that does not run at around 2Ghz will struggle -CPU prefers Eight cores but your mileage may vary -10GB of spare ram for buffering 16GB minimum overall, adjustable memory bar is utilized if available on your platform -Potential spoiler: Around the midway to third quarter point (a bit before the finale, possibly 20 or so hours prior) the main plot seems to become very misdirected in my opinion - The side content of this game carries a very large portion of the weight in regards to your return on investment if you play Open world games with the intention of engaging with thought provoking narratives or anything more meaningful than in-n-out shoot and loot mechanics, some of the side quests are also in this style but it is more present in the main narrative. If you can get around the entry point and have roughly 60-100 hours to invest this is an extremely fine tuned experience that truly allows you to feel like an "Edgerunner" from the tabletop P&P title. I have been playing this game since it was released. With 2.0 update it really hits better. The visuals, the gameplay. Good stuff indeed. Still plenty of bugs but overall they are more tamed. It gives a unique experience, main story and characters are well done. Overall 4/5 game.

Ok guys, after reading some amount (too much) of bullshit I decided to do my first review on GOG. To put things strait, I'm a gamer since the 80's and mastered Bards Tale, Wasteland, Pool of Radiance, Star Command and Red Strom Rising just to give the people how still know those names an short impression. I read about Cyberpunk not being like GTA or something like that shit - well, don't buy it. No one told you it's like GTA and just because you are too stupid to know, what you are doing, nobody else deserves to suffer! Next point: who are those despicable demihumans who threaten people, who worked on the game, to take their lifes? Are you sick? Go on and remove yourself from the planet, but do not bother other humans! Back To the Game: I started playing at launch (PC), maybe I got lucky but I encountered no major breaking bugs. At the moment my character was designed, I fell into the story. Every time I start the game it takes me to long to stop playing. In short, in my opinion it is the most immersive, breathtaking roleplaying game I ever encountered. Yes, there are bugs and yes it is not really an open world BUT regarding things like Starfield (dead, only generated, The Outer Worlds is the better version of the same game with less marketing), I prefer Night City every time! Ever been to the Farm? If not, you don't know what you talk and write about... Oh, and by the way I finished all endings and now, with Phantom Liberty I started a new game, to enjoy the intended new version of the city. Of course, it maybe not your game and that’s perfect, take another one which fits your desires! But don't tell this game is shit just because it's not your kind of game. And to the haters: as written before, take the Darwin Award and remove yourself from the gen-pool of humanity! In short: I take this game as a masterpiece in my 40years gaming experience, better than anything in the last years. However, it's a game, it should entertain you, it's no religion or science.

Mark my words, because this game has a potential to be on the top for a decade in the action RPG genre on PC or at least until CDPR can come out with their next title. It's already more than any another action RPG can offer but I'm sure like a good wine with time just getting better. All we needs just few more updates for the game to further polish & ofc. some sweet mods on PC would be cool too. I also hope the best about the bigger update in the future, & to get some brilliant DLCs too. And yep, even on my potato Gaming PC looks incredible, can't wait to add some mods too tho! (My config.:i72600k, 20GB RAM, 1TB SSD, & a GTX 1060 6GB since I wasn't able to get a 3060 yet. :P) I'm able to run smoothly, above 30 FPS the game between high-ultra settings so far yet in Full HD/1080p/1920x1080 res. I use the latest NVidia GeForce driver, which came out just last night.
