Just awesome!
I'am old enough to remember games of 2,5 poorly coloured pixels. With no plot. With no key mapping. With no... anything. This game, it's plot, graphics, soundtrack, voices... it all just blowed my mind! Of course, as any title, it needs some polishing. BUT IT IS ALREADY F***ING GREAT. JUST KEEP IT UP GUYS, I HAVE FAITH IN YOU AND MANY THANKS FOR THIS MASTERPIECE!

Masterpiece sprinkled with small flaws
At the time of writing this, I have roughly around 110 hours over PC & console and I am of the opinion that Cyberpunk 2077 could easily become one of the all time greats once a number of fixes come in. I would thoroughly recommend it to any RPG fans our there with a passion or interest in the cyberpunk genre. + The main story is short but has quite a bit of depth to it. + Storytelling is on a level of its own. There are references to the subplots brilliantly sprinkled throughout the main quest if you pay attention. +/- The RPG elements and character build brings nothing innovative. I guess don't fix something that wasn't broken was the mantra here. What I do like is that specific builds are not that relevant and you could ignore the skill trees entirely and still comfortably finish the game with the dropped items. +/- Character Development is my pet peeve due to its inconsistency. There are certain side characters that are VERY well written and developed and key main characters that feel like fillers. (e.g. Judy Alvarez is probably one of the best written characters I have come across in any game and she plays a very minor role in the main quest. However, there is a lot of depth brought to her character through her side quests. On the other hand, you have main characters such as Rogue and Panam which are essential to the plot but don't have much depth.) - The gigs can get tiring after a while with the lack of variety. (infiltrate place X and grab Y). - NCPD Scanner are ... just additional things to do. I mean, you can't expect much from them if you think you're responding to a random dispatch call. - The Nomad/Corpo/Street Kid life paths bring no real variety. I won't get into the bugs which have been mostly fixed by now. I am looking forward to future patches & DLCs! If I am honest, I would give the game 4* but I have decided to take it up to 5* mostly due to the number of unfair reviews that seem to have expected GTA (thank god it's nothing like that!).

A Breath taking immersive experience
In summary, A master piece... There are few titles the draw you into immersion like Cyberpunk. The Story line take you on a literal rollercoaster of sensation and emotion. With deep character developement that is meaningful for both PC and NPC. This is the gaming experience of this decade. Even though it had a rocky start on consoles it would have been a 5/5 title from the critics. The PC on release while it had a few bugs was not distracting. The Modding community were truly helpful often releaseeing fixes and patches for bugs before the devs could. I can recommend this title enough. It is a breath taking experience...

Enjoyed it immensely
More than most games. I found it very similar to Witcher 3 in mechanics and direction at times. Occasionally CP77 would miss the mark in conveying intended emotion or scale in a scene and when it did it reminded me of the times Witcher 3 (and Witcher 2) did the same. Overall I loved the setting, the profanity, violence and pervertedness. Turning around and seeing a giant pahllus protruding from a toilet or visiting a club with animated neon genitals over the door remained a constant source of amusement. I can see why it might not be to someone's taste though. The story is good, though we have another open world game running a main campaign pushing life or death urgency, meanwhile the player is presented with a plethora of side quests of varying scope and importance. That's videogames so I'm happy to tag along. The above facets are interesting but rather crucially I found this a very fun game to play. Shooting is great fun so I ended up moving my character more toward combat where previously I'd intended a stealth/hacker build. Ability trees are deep so you take time to make your choice vs a game like Far Cry where you acquire virtually all abilities in the late game. I chose to do nearly all side content before proceeding with the one ending I've played. Only vehicle purchases (don’t know why they're listed as quests) and a few gigs left. I'm keen to see the other endings but with 120-odd hours clocked and other games to play I'll have a break now and look forward to returning when some more patches and perhaps DLC roll out. I'm happy to know this is just the beginning for Cyberpunk 2077.
