Cyberpunk 2077

This no review of big words. The game has some bugs, but who would have thought otherwise? The Gameplay is great, the driving is something to get used to but it works. The overall Atmosphere is rock solid, it looks excellent runs well and really sucks the player into the cyberpunk world. Don't let yourself get overhyped, its never gonna be reality. Stay calm and you got in my opinion great game. See you in Night City.

A well crafted experience in my limited hours invested in the game and I have no doubt that the minor bugs will get ironed out in the future. Cyberunk is not the genre I favor, but the game play, visuals, music, world detail are working for me so far. I don't regret finally pulling the trigger on purchasing CP in the least.

I'll start by pointing out that at the time of this review, I played around 21 hours of the game and only just finished the Prologue. Yes I am taking my time :) So far, quest, story, animations and characters is pretty much what you would expect from CDPR, the game is REALLY good (speaking for myself obviously) and I am a big fan of RPGs in general. I will change this review accordingly as I progress through the game and if CDPR fixes all of the outstanding problems. Having said that, I have NOT experienced even 1/4 of the issues people are saying on the internet and here on GOG. I am running the game on a Ryzen 1600, 16 GB of RAM, SATA SSD Drive and an AMD R9 Fury. Yes my computer was built back in 2015 and I have not had any issues with lag, poor performance or graphics looking dodgy. I was runinng the game on Medium with no issues, then later on decided to pump it up to High and guess what, it also worked OK :) I had to turn off Anti Aliasing though. I did experience a few bugs, but not many: * NPCs standing in T Pose (happened literally once) * Game crashed on me (also only once) * NPCs sometimes going through walls. I have seen this happening like 4 or 5 times from what I remember. * 1 of the main quests glitched out to me and I had to reload to fix it. I sent a ticket about this to CDPR and they replied on the same day with some tips on how to fix and also to ask for a copy of my save. * Car crash can be a bit dodgy but not game breaking. * Render distance is sometimes weird if I'm driving in high speed. not sure if it's due to my old hardware or a bug. Either way, I think it can be improved.

I wrote out a whole review and lost it like an idiot when I clicked the downloads section (which had a 1 next to it, shiny thing tookmy attention). Here's the short version: it's fantastic and beautiful. There are some bugs, but this isn't some trillion dollar, bug free, futuristic life simulator made by a rich government. It's a video game, made by human beings. If you like the theme, like the dev, and want your computer to melt, then give it a shot. If the bugs are too much, then be an adult and learn some patience. It's already a masterpiece, and it's only going to get better. Also definitely buy it on GOG. CDPR earned the money, and there's no stupid DRM.
