Literally unplayable with version 1.1/1.2. The game crashed constantly on 1.1 and on 1.2 it does not even start up. Game was fine with 1.06 so I have to go back to it, where several things are broken, quests not even starting up. Essential things are missing. Nothings helps with version 1.1/1.2 and Iam sick of trying. Iam playing on high settings but I cant get even into the menu anymore.

What i liked:
- City is beautiful, i love just walking on streets enjoying views.
- Some side quest are brillant: Peralez and River story is amazing.
- Main story is ok, but very short.
- Graphics is great, but in some places it can looks bad (pop in, lack of pedestrians shadows from light sources except sun)
What i didn't like:
- Footstep sounds are missing often.
- Can't drive in first person. Camera placement is too low and view outside windows is too bright.
- Fov constantly resetting to default value during gameplay
- Subtitles often won't disappear, they stay on screen.
- Missing sounds, music during gameplay.
- Pop in and stutters on high end PC with RTX 3080 and SSD.
- City is beautiful but empty, there's no fun activities for player.
- So many boring, repetitive "quests", it feels like on every corner there is a crime activity (kill some thugs and that's it).
- UI and inventory is a mess, unintuitive with no QoL whatsoever.
And many many more bugs, some are minor some are game breaking. Every time during game session i have to restart game at least once because of the bugs. Two months after the release, game is still in terrible technical state.
Remember that trailer with Jackie, that makes you think you're gonna do some cool activities with him during gameplay? It was a lie, it's just a cutscene. This honestly felt like slap in the face, this not how you treat your customers.
I regret preordering this game. State of this game is unacceptable. This is not AAA game, many early access games are in much better shape than Cyberpunk 2077.
I played it pretty solidly at release, but getting up to the final mission, I had no real desire to do side missions. The side missions themselves are not really interesting and change nothing about the world or overarching story. The main story is alright, but as far as "choices matter" doesn't seem important. Me and 6 mates all played it at the same time, and would tell each other the choices we picked and compared events. Only Two missions were different, right near the beginning, and the final mission.
After finishing the game, I had no desire to replay the game. It just felt like it would have been a slog of going over the same thing again. And this is all from a story aspect. Not mentioning the games many bugs and flaws and glitches and AI not working properly. The game low key sucked.
I would not recommend it.
Lets not even consider the whole "performance on consoles" issue or the bugs in game. The story is good but everything else from the open world experience to the AI in game feels really underwhelming, comparable to an early access game on steam. I also wouldn't consider this an RPG, it is more of an action adventure game. The choices you make seem to make no difference, and the skill trees are a complete joke. The open world experience is probably the most disappointing things of all. Its embarrassing that games like GTA San Andreas from nearly 20 years ago has a better AI then this "next gen title from 2020", and the world just feels very empty outisde the main missions. Maybe the game will be worth buying in 2-3 years but it isn't right now. I can't help but feel betrayed by CDPR with this game, as I thought they were the last group of developers to "do things the right way".
I had high hopes for CP2077, coming off of the back of the highly successful W3. I was certain this new IP that I had been following since announcement was in safe hands. As info, gameplay and hands on previews started to come out, the hype within me exploded! I was certain this game was going to be the game that other developers would look to for inspiration and overall level of polish and commitment from the developers.
Alas, what we got was unfortunately lots of promise but no delivery. Lots of gameplay mechanics left out, leaving the game a FPS with shallow RPG mechanics. I haven't played the game for long and I really do hope CDPR can pull a Hello Games and No Man's Sky the fuck out of CP2077 and bring it from the shadows and into the light. But after the delays, hacks, bad press etc, CDPR have a long way to go.
I'm currently awaiting patch 1.2 before dipping my toe back in but if the patch doesn't deliver I'm fairly certain this game will go down as one of the biggest flops ever and it will force me to never pre order games again based on hype!
