Unrealistic expectations...
First off, this game has been a huge project that might have been released too early, I get that and I understand that people don't like it one bit. I don't want to pay for a game that's unfinished either but on the other hand CDPR tries to fix it at least. However, the fact is that the game was playable on PC from day one. PS four is a different story and I don't like it but I'm talking about PC now. Second of all, there were (and still are) many minor bugs but it's nothing major. It's hard to say what went wrong but I appreciate that when the game was released and a large group of actual players did some post-release testing (I hate to say it but that's they way the biz works ladies and gents!) they jumped right on to fixing them. Another thing, cut content. I'm pretty certain that they've already said that there will be expansions. Am I going to judge the game based on the fact that I didn't get all of it at once? I think that all the "must haves" are already in the game. Some "could haves" are not but it's not like I'm not going to buy the game because I can't do some side activities like go bowling or climb walls using the mantis blades. I think they're irrelevant when you have a ton of side quests and an interesting main storyline. Now the last thing, hype. I think that it varies widely between people but I've waited for the game all those years, seen all the trailers, been hyped too and so on. Do I have unrealistic expectations of a perfect game? No. Why? Because games aren't perfect and probably never will be. Let's face it, you can type in YouTube the name of any game followed by the word "glitches" and you'll get hours of content showing ridiculous bugs and broken mechanics. Is it good that there are so many glitches? No. Am I not going to have fun because of them? I've already had an absolute blast.. All in all, it's not perfect but it's worth every penny in my humble opinion. Thank you CDPR and thank you for reading this.
