Cyberpunk 2077

I find the game to be a lot of fun and I really enjoy the world, Night City is amazing. It isn't what I expected but I do enjoy what it is. Yes, there are some bugs but I am sure they will get sorted out in time. The main thing is that it is fun and I really enjoy it. It's basically a first person shooter with a lot of story and some story elements for good measure. It has parts that are like GTA and some other parts that are like the Far Cry games (I guess you could add some Deus EX too). It may have come out of the oven early but it is still great.

I would say this game has been on of my best RPG experiences since Ultima 7 (both parts). On PC with 1080 I have not had any game breaking bugs whatsoever.

I absolutely love the open world of Cyberpunk 2077. The city is amazing. The attention to detail and the fact that there are no loading screens on area transitions is mindblowing. And it looks gorgeous on RTX 3080 with all the graphics gimmicks on. But... ... it's riddled with bugs, as if the QA team tested it for a day at max (I know that's not the case, it just feels that way). Some bugs are funny. Some are not. Save often! ... some aspects of the gameplay feel rushed. For example, one can indiscriminately kill random gang members on the streets and it doesn't seem to affect their attitute towards V. It gives street creds and levels up, sure, but it feels nothing like an RPG. ... the way the game proceeds after the end of the story is just lazy. Not going to spoil it, so finish the game and see for yourself. CDPR did much better with The Witcher 3. All in all, it's a love it or hate it kind of game. I tend more to the former, but YMMV.

There has been a lot of coverage of this game's issues with release. Some of that critism is warranted. Many of those issues have been fixed. The game has an incredible story with an amazing amount of depth. Quests can often be completed in unexpected ways with ramifications later in the game. The graphics and music are amazing. The combat is interesting, there are many viable builds/playstyles. If you have been holding out on getting this game or looking at getting back into it I would heartily recommend it. This is one of my favorite games of all time. I hope we see many expansions to come.

Buy the game in advance pre-purchase with the expectation of all the content promised by CD Project Red. The graphics are ok but, still not even close to what was promised, only the mods improve the gaming experience and the company does nothing at all
