GOG did it again!

Another beloved trilogy by thousands of gamers found a DRM-Free home at the GOG-Sanctuary. Guys, you're full of surprises! Thanks ps. here seems to be a real Crysis Hater voting all comments down. Maybe he still has Windows 95 and can't play it.

Truly Awful

The original Crysis 2 is my favorite in the series, being more consistently fun than the original despite not quite living up to the best parts of Crysis 1. However, this remaster is a train wreck. I'm not sure what happened because Crysis 1 Remastered was overall pretty good. I can't even have fun with this one, though, because the AI is just completely broken. They react to sounds you don't make, get stuck on terrain constantly, get stuck in animation loops and worst of all, they can see you through walls now. This completely ruins stealth as a gameplay style (one of the best parts about the series) and I'm not sure how something like this even made it out the door. The original wasn't like this at all. So disappointing to see a great game get a lazy remaster treatment, it deserves better. Only reason I don't go to 1 star is because the game looks and runs great.

No manual save :( Plan on dying A LOT

Good: Graphics Game play You get rewards for killing aliens No game crashes Bad: NO MANUAL SAVE - Makes the game painful. I had to stop playing because of this. Controls changed from Crysis 1 forcing a pointless learning curve Alien kill rewards are crappy Melee is the best way to kill aliens. WTF?? Too many NPCs talking in your ear I've been through Crysis 1 a dozen times so I expected this game to be better than it was. It was frustrating even on the easy (recruit) level. With no manual save, I was stuck playing the same levels over and over and over again. Very disappointing. Maybe I'll try again when they add a manual save patch.

Great game, embiance and graphics!

Played a few times on Xbox 360, PS3 and well as PC back in the day! - Can't recommend enough! While it had less realistic graphics than the original - which had fantastic scenes in the jungle - it ran better than the original Crysis at the time it released and was more story focussed with quite a few memorable moments! It plays smoother than the original and is a game that stands on its own - Quite happy to be able to play it again DRM-Free in its remastered version! I cannot compare it to Crysis 3 story wise as I only played chunks of that other one but the graphics are great either case!

I am an adult with real life.. need save

I haven't got hours to invest in any game in a single stretch all games should have save state built in. I would never play a game like this without console commands, again I am an adult. I want to play not your way. it isn't mmo so why not.
