Kyle does it again

It’s another game from Kyle Thompson, and you can definitely feel the same DNA from his previous titles like Sheepo and Islets. The world, enemies, even the attack indicators and sound cues feel familiar, not to mention the music—but everything is so much more polished here. The presentation is super charming, and the animations are incredibly smooth. It’s challenging as always, but it feels fair, and the puzzles even have these subtle cues that gently push you towards the solution without being too obvious. This might be Kyle's best work yet.

Solid metroidvana that respects time

Quick travel points are frequent and can be used from anywhere. While you do get resources to buy upgrades, there's not really a grueling grind for them. Plot helps connect player to the game but doesn't get in the way.

Fantastic Game

Could not put it down. Saw this game and was skeptical but this is a GREAT metroidvania. - Controls are tight - Animations and style are great - Combat is really quite fun, never feels unfair - Characters are funny and you'll likely have a smirk throughout the game - Nothing feels wasted: most every power up serves a purpose and while there are a few collectibles, they all just... work. - Variety: Puzzles, new enemie types, bosses throw in just enough new elements to keep you on your toes - Story was really nice. I had a good time This is worth every cent.

How Is This Possible?

I knew exactly what to expect when i bought this game, because I've played Kyle's games before and they never let me down. This guy is quickly becoming one of my favourite game creators, and i can't wait to see what else he comes up with. I really don't have much to say about the game beyond just telling you to just buy it. You won't be disappointed.
