In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.
ADAPT OR PERISH
In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
DON'T LET THEM MERGE
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.
HARVESTER OF SOULS
Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

Loved it, really nice horror game
I wanted something new in the horro genre, this is what I was looking for, my PC runs it smoothly, no issues at all, so far.

Amazing game, all content no uploaded
Cannot download the extras on this platform , including the artbook and soundtrack that came with the deluxe edition. The is Silent Hill meets Dead Space so better be prepared for some visual treat.

Not Dead Space Spiritual Successor
First let me just start by saying Cronos is a technically good game; the graphics are good, I never had any crashes, and the voice acting, art style, etc. etc. are all good. The game does indeed provide a tense survival horror experience. However, the way it does so is simply not to my liking; I do not enjoy the slow crawl style of survival horror like Resident Evil. I've always found it incredibly boring and simpy not worth my time. This is why I was so excited for Cronos cause everyone who's anyone kept saying 'its like Dead Space 4'. But that's not the case. This game is frequently billed as the 'spiritual sucessor to Dead Space' and I have to imagine everyone saying that has not actually played either game. It looks very similar to Dead Space, the setting and art style definitely very similar. But that's where the similarites end. Cronos is most similar in gameplay to Resident Evil 4; and personally I never liked that game. I know I'm probably in the minority here, but my opinion is that the old, inventory management focused survival horror style is, boring, tedious, and simply unfun. That is why I liked Dead Space so much; because it was still terrifying but, the game play was FAST, you fought hordes of zombies, you never worried about ammo, but you did always worry about surviving. Dead Space had massive labryinths for maps, and you could explore them however you chose. The combat was fast and frantic. If you are buying Cronos expecting Dead Space; you are going to be very disappointed. If you LOVED Resident Evil 4 though? You'll love this! Its just not what I was looking for, and not what I was told to expect.
