As a time detective, your job is to solve crimes through time that should never have happened!
Each map has multiple time markers to visit and use to resolve different cases of hacking, murder, theft, and much more.
But a common thread of strange events is developing over the centuries...




Something or someone is trying to disturb time, find it!
A HUGE zoomable map for each era is the playfield for the deductions and the search for clues.
YOU must proceed with a deductive method to combine the missing pieces.
By resolving cases the map changes and new adventures are unlocked.





As you can see, it's a point&click game; the only skill you need is your fully functional brain to unplan crime!
You will not be alone in your job: EVE, an advanced AI, will help you, providing guidance and tools.
Using EVE’s system, you have new ways to find clues and evidence: deductive sessions alternate with action and puzzle mechanics for a complete user experience.

Crime O'Clock offers a great time-traveling detective experience and shows what skilled developers can achieve while re-inventing a classic mechanic. All its five era locations are attractive, packed with interesting characters, tons of details, and some truly weird ideas. The black and white look and the colorful case touches complement each other well.

Crime O’Clock is an enjoyable throwback to hidden object games, with modern visual and mechanical design elements that eliminate the frustrations of the genre. Its art style and level of detail make each level a visual treat in addition to a challenging puzzle. I look forward to seeing if Bad Seed is able to expand on the experience with additional levels and puzzles down the road.

Preserving the true timeline alongside my AI companion was certainly an interesting investigation. Finding clues amongst the crowds was a simple yet entertaining gimmick, often making for enjoyable short play sessions. With a large amount of story missions alongside a decent free-play mode, there's definitely fun to be had even if the gameplay lacks complexity.

Not the best

It has a repetitiveness that makes you lose interest in about 10 minutes. Really isn't much there in terms of content. Great for a little puzzle game, but don't expect much entertainment value or replayability out of it.

MicroMacro: Crime City kills it

Indeed inspired by micromacro crime city board games, this video game lack the liberty offered by its counterpart and suffer from a poor user interface. Having different layers corresponding to different time when the board games have only one map is an excellent use of computing power. On the offer side, beeing unable to navigate freely between is disapointing, when the added minigames are just a loss of time. This is sad, as the little stories proposed are pretty nice, meeting the standart. The carefull search leading to a pleasant discovery of stories is there replaced by beeing rigidly dragged towards an easy end.

Too much white

The story isn't particulary interesting, but the worst part is that there way too much white, to the point that my eyes hurt after a while. I do not advice buying it.
