Amazing Game, incomplete release on GOG

If you're looking for a review of Conscript as a game, here's one: you need to buy it, it's an instant classic. The rest of this review is for Team17, publisher of Conscript: Director's cut content seems exclusive to Steam release as of writing this review. No clear communication from Team17 about whether or not there is a plan to release the Director's cut on GOG. No responses to the queries made through the Team17 official support channels. No clear indication on either the Steam or the GOG storefronts that there is exclusive content or missing content on any of the respective store pages. As of writing this review, my perception of Team17's actions is of those made in bad faith. If not in bad faith, the only alternative is egregious incompetence. Neither of which are traits I find tolerable in a publisher, especially a publisher for indie titles. Unless Team17 provides a clear public explanation, I cannot in good conscience recommend purchasing their titles through any storefront as you may not get what you paid for.
