So much more than meet's the eye
This game has a depth I cannot even fathom at my current playtime... This is the closest I have ever seen to a fullly realized simulation of a fantasy world in a game.

Stragglingly deep, Addictly fun.
you can never explore all of it, as much as you may want to. One of the best games i've played.

You will die a lot, but...
Isn't that the only promise of any true rogue-like game? Yes, often you'll die not far from the spot you started, but that one time when you're slaying vicious goat-men and teleporting crystalline entities with your blood-powered laser rifle in the jungle-reclaimed ruins of a fallen city makes all that frustration worthwhile. This game is not a visual banquet. It's the depth and breadth of a 'choose your own adventure' novel in interactive form. Though lacking in the graphical metrics that the modern gamer has come to expect, it more than makes up for it in the vision that Caves of Qud exhorts from the player in written and technical form. While it is true to its 'In-development' status in a few glaring ways, I believe in the vision of this game & all games like it. We must be prepared to vote with our money for the art we want to see, and this is my contribution to that dream. Strive on, story-tellers, and thanks for this opportunity to see your world. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a hoversled to repair before I make another foray towards the Spindle. Wish me luck!
