i had some doubts but it is entertaining, and a fresh idea to try playing,

Ce jeu est original c'est sur ! Il faut se faire à la maniabilité singulière, mais c'est kiffant d'être l'alien dangereux de l'histoire pour une fois. Ce n'est pas vraiment non plus le genre de jeu à tout le temps foncer dans le tas, certains moments vous le feront regretter. Il possède de nombreux checkpoints en plus de ne pas avoir de vies limitées, limitant la frustration à certains endroits (ce qui serait dommage vu le genre du jeu), mais il se finit assez vite (5h30 pour ma part pour le jeu de base, 45mins pour le DLC). Les environnements sont quand même variés pour un laboratoire. Le principal point négatif à mon goût, il y a des fois où j'étais bien bloqué le temps de trouver que c'était tel passage à prendre ou tel compétence de l'Alien à utiliser. Le DLC est une sorte de mise à l'épreuve un peu plus intense que le jeu standard. Je recommande fortement, notamment en promo comme actuellement ! --- This game is original for sure! You have to get used to the unique handling, but it's cool to be the dangerous alien in the story for once. It's not really the kind of game that rushes in all the time either, there are moments when you'll regret it. It has many checkpoints in addition to not having limited lives, limiting frustration in some places (which would be a shame given the genre of the game), but it ends quite quickly (5h30 for me for the base game, 45mins for the DLC). The environments are quite varied for a laboratory. The main negative point in my opinion, there are times when I was really stuck while I figured out which passage to take or which skill of the Alien to use. The DLC is a kind of test a little more intense than the standard game. I highly recommend it, especially on sale like now!

I've put 5 hours into the game so far (there were technical issues and I lost a bunch of progress) and I really like the way it plays and I love the pixel art style of the game. The music and atmosphere the game sets up is just super fun and creepy. The plot twist at the end was pretty fun. My only negative thought is the map is super confusing and not super easy to maneuver.

For a game about being a terrible monster that eats everything in its path, having my save file being eaten by it is somehow fitting, if very annoying. I was 2 hours into the game at the time and no support I can see is helping me recover my save file which I can now only assume never saved properly to begin with. While it is a shame this takes my expirence down from a 5/5 to an imediate 3/5, I would still recommend this game, if you are so inclined to. Just, be warned to make sure you're saving properly before you play in earnest.

This would be an amazing Modern Metroidvania where you are the horror that lurks in the shadows picking off the humans one by one or exploding into a room in a dervish of teeth and claws. And a mild mix of puzzles and story telling. But it lacks some serious QoL necessities like a functional saving system. Or a Map so you can get back to the areas you missed due to not having the right abilities yet. If they update id love to come back with more stars.
