Innovative and fun

A great game ! The music is on point, the gameplay is fluid and the art is well done. I liked the desing of the monster. Progressing in the game you will unlock more abilities fun (and bloody). Basically you try to get out the facility you're in by killing everybody and solving puzzle. It's a skillfull mix between horror game and metroidvania. I liked the story but i was hoping for more, i look forward a sequel ! Also, but i suppose it was intentional by the dev, it's such a maze in there that i lost myself several time trying to unlock every abilities or finding the next zone. A must play if you like the metroidvania style and don't mind blood.

Delightful

For a real challenge try and see how few of people you can kill. Not counting armoured guards of course.

Worth Every Penny Asked For

I am not and I repeat NOT an avid 2d platformer gamer. This tho is probly my FAVE 2d platformer. Tho i honestly find it hard to call a platformer. I highly recommend this game to anyone who wishes to play a horror game that lets you be the horror without being campy like Dead by Daylight or Friday the 13th. Honestly worth every bloody penny that's asked for imho.

Pretty fun, pretty short

Pretty fun and unique puzzle game where you play as the monster instead of the human trying to kill it. It wasn't particularly hard and there were only a couple of puzzles I had to stop and think about but it was a good few hours of fun. Replayability seems rather limited though; I finished 100% on my first run in just under 5 and a half hours. The game isn't a full price title obviously but keep this in mind. Since I generally aim for 1 hour for $1 I spend, this title missed the mark by quite a bit. Not to say I regret buying it though, the game is still quite an enjoyable one.

Fun Take on Horror

In being a monster, there’s not too many games out there that I can think of that lets you feel you aren’t handicapped while playing as the foul beast. CARRION is the first one that gives you the feeling that you are the monster and your goal is simple: kill them all. It’s a fairly straightforward game. With some light puzzle elements, you mostly go around killing humans and collecting new abilities to open new areas. The interesting part isn’t so much the gameplay, as there isn’t much to it. It’s the feeling of power. You are the horrific beast and, while not unstoppable, more than powerful enough to end any threat. My only real problem is in my hunt for some hidden power-ups, I’ve gotten myself lost and turned around, unable to remember the way forward. More flaw on me than the game, perhaps, but maybe a minimap or some other means of finding your way around would have been nice.
