A real find!

High points: Mechanics, gameplay, controls, sounds, ost, settings, lore and available content. Mid points: Graphics and performance Low and Lowest points: 1 - In phases with lower lighting, the scene takes on a purple tone, which is very strange and also doesn't make sense and is poorly rendered. 2 - Sometimes when collecting a souvenir or leveling up, the game crashes. My point: There is no reason not to buy it, because despite everything the game is very coherent and fun!

A nice addition to the series...

... and, again, quite an interesting way to combine storytelling and gameplay (or at the very least, in some part). Gameplay wise, Call of Juarez is perhaps the most straight forward out of the three (I'm pretending that Cartel doesn't exist) with colts, rifles and dynamite on the center of the action, and already the game provides a nice pace of action, despite being basic. But the thing that keeps you playing will be the story... or, at least, in the creative way they used the E.A. Poe's technique of presenting unreliable narrator in order to shape the game as it goes on, directly while playing! ...Yes, it's not unique, or mind-blowing, but it is nice touch, and combine with all the others (graphics, gameplay and settings) manages to give quite the worthy experience for the FPS fans and the Call of Juarez aficionado out there!

Stylish Western Shooter

I had lots of fun with this game. Its a FPS game which i usually dont play that much, but as I already loved the first Call of Juarez and read the positive reviews on this one, I thought I give it a try. Its different from the first one which changed between action sequenzes and stealth/platform ones. Gunslinger is purely a shooter but it has some really fun ideas and twists. First theres the artstyle. The "drawn" graphics make this game really look cool and fit the western style. Music is awsome and very fitting. Shooting is fun with some different weapons and skills to unlock. You can build focus when shooting enemies which you can use to slow down time for some quick kills. But by far the best part is how the story is presented. You are Silas Greaves, a guy sitting in a bar and telling some people surrounding him the story of his life. So you always hear Silas or the people who listen talking while playing. This offers some fun ideas, when Silas is narrating how a gun appeared in front of him in a desperate situation "as if it fell from heaven" and in game there actually is a corpse with a gun falling down from the skies in front of you. Or when Silas tries to remeber which way he went and is going through the one way until he realizes that wasnt possible so the game "winds back" and then you go the other way. Another really nice idea are the "duels" that catch the western feeling prefectly and are not easy to execute. I dont know if you can transport the way the game felt with this review properly, but if you are looing for a short (around 5 hours for one go) fun and not to hard experience you cant do any wrong with this game.

RDR By poland

If Red Dead Redemption had a cousin from Poland, it would undoubtedly be Call of Juarez. After all, who said only Americans can make a great Wild West game? Call of Juarez is a Polish western with soul. Gdyby Red Dead Redemption miało kuzyna z Polski, to bez wątpienia byłby nim Call of Juarez. W końcu kto powiedział, że tylko Amerykanie potrafią zrobić dobry Dziki Zachód? Call of Juarez to polski western z duszą.

Absolute Mastery

It's a little disgusting how good this game is. I played through the entire series before jumping onto this one, mostly because of all the good things I'd heard about it, and WOW did it deliver. This game is a bonafide masterpiece, and it feels like Techland finally made _exactly_ the game they wanted to make after the two previous attempts. I implore you - don't miss out on this game. It's short, but my God, is the ride something that you will never forget. From the gunplay to the stunning graphics to the reams and reams of historical tidbits, this game, like a cowboy of old that has finally conquered himself, rides singularly into a golden sunset and never looks back.
