Broken Sword is the game that introduced me to the point and click adventure genre. Beautiful music, beautiful artwork, great story, great voice acting, the atmosphere is just unbeatable. This game defines nostalgia for me, seeing that white hand pointing me in certain directions and picking things up just makes me feel like I'm back in the ninetees.
Buy it, if not for nostalgia, for haviong the best adventure games have to offer in your hands.
PS: Am I the only one who think it's silly to have a huge spoiler already on the new cover of the game?
This is on of the best game at all. Only advertisement it's about Languages that refers to DC version. Original Version language gameplay is English sub English. Plz correct description!
I really enjoyed the first part of the game, until I reached a point in the game where some kind of glitch made it impossible to continue. The walkthroughs may say you can get past the goat, but try as I might, there was no way I could move that plow and get the goat stuck on it. So, Broken Sword may or may not have a sword, but it definitely seems broken.
General Tips for Beginners
This is a point and click Adventure Game.
Click on Options and then on the Audio tab to adjust the Sound Effects, Music and Speech Volume.
Click on Options and the Screen Resolution tab to choose between Full Screen, Original or Augmented resolutions.
Click on the flag below the Credits to choose the language for the subtitles.
A flashing blue circle cursor indicates an area of interest.
There are many hotspots that are not necessary to progress and not included in the walkthrough, but they provide humor and background and investigating all of them allows for a more complete experience.
Moving your cursor over the flashing blue circle will bring up various action icons.

Yes, still a great game and still the Broken Sword the we loved so much in the past. Unfortunately, some puzzles have been simplified. The original version of the game is only in English, so if you want to play it in other languages... give up, you can't.
Anyway, really good game and still my favourite adventure in the genre.
