Absolutely addictive
Bullets Per Minute is a banger metal soundtrack in which you shoot, reload, and dash to the beat destroying the legions of Norse hell. While the game is initially pretty easy once you get the hang of it, the difficulty rapidly increases as you unlock other characters and their variously challenging kits. I finally reached 100% on Steam recently by spending over 26 hours in two weeks on just the challenges for the final 2 characters (Odr and Sanngrior). The item spread isn’t incredible, but it follows in the footsteps of amazing roguelikes like Enter the Gungeon and Risk of Rain by giving you the chance to find yourself an incredibly overpowered run with one or two lucky drops. I’m a bit of a nut for this game (I’ve bought the soundtrack, 100%ed it as mentioned, and have argued it’s better than Doom 2016 in some ways), it’s absolutely amazing when you hit the flow state because the core gameplay is just so satisfying. If you like roguelikes, are decent at FPS games, and don’t mind the visuals, it may well turn you into a bit of a nut too.
