Blood: Fresh Supply

This port slicks everything up real nice, takes only a little tweaking to set the controls and mouse as you wish, and plays like a dream. They fixed some things and added features that make sense and work nice. Before this port it took so much tweaking to get the resolution and mouse support with the older version. The save/load bug that affected the game difficulty (on the steam, and maybe original version) appears to be fixed too. I can't figure out how to set the original midi music which is my only real complaint. Turning off "CD" music in-game just seems to run a cd version of the midi soundtrack. It's playing buttery smooth, sounds good, and feels good. I do have some crashes with the custom difficulty setting, but the original difficulties work properly now. Nightdive is just phenomenal.

This game is a love letter to the horror genre and one of the best classic FPS games I've ever played. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it has become my third favorite FPS from the 90s, after Half-Life and Counter-Strike.

Back in the day I only played the first shareware episode, now i finally finished this game, is just amazing, one of the best 90's FPS period.

Old. Hardcore. Shooter. Save/load is needed.

At long last, Blood has been re-released with a proper sourceport, and I must say that it was well worth the wait! the added high-res support, MSAA, AO and the custom difficulty level only adds to the replayability, and you'll find yourself cackling along with Caleb the moment you start nailing those TNT trick shots! Thank you Nightdive for another fantastic port and the nostalgia!
