Blood is a classic FPS game. Its level design, animation, movement, arsenal of weapons and monsters are as delectable today as they were in 1997. Fresh Supply is a solid way to experience it all, though there isn't enough to win over longtime Blood players from their favorite sourceport.

An FPS GOAT
One of the GOAT FPS games. Play the main campaign and the expansions. Then download Death Wish and play that too.

Possibly best boomer shooter ever made.
I've never played the original Blood and only recently found out about it through Civvie 11, so I decided to give it a try. This game has an excellent gothic atmosphere, the enemies are very unique, featuring gargoyles, zombies, cultists, etc. Caleb's one-liners are iconic. My favorite part is the weapons, which might be my favorite set of weapons in any game. They are all so powerful and interesting, like the voodoo doll and the napalm cannon. This game is notorious for being difficult, and so I might suggest playing Pink On The Inside difficulty to get the hang of it. But it is by far the best of the Build engine games, and is a strong contender for the best boomer shooter right alongside Doom.

Good, but Brutal
This game is fun as heck, but SUPER BRUTAL in its difficulty. Which is to its benefit, as it harkens back to a day and age where games did not hold your hand. This is not a run and gun style shooter. You need to time your attacks carefully because of hitscan and melee enemies, constantly keeping you on your toes. It may sound like I am knocking the game, but I am not: this is a game that is stellar in its design, but forces you to change your mindset from run and gun to tactical very quickly.
