Adorable clever game

It's a great game - a combination of logical puzzle solving, dimensional thinking and some timed jumping. It's not too hard - unless you decide to collect the stars (to get the green star you have to accumulate quite a lot of unused block at the end of the level - and it can be tricky). The story is cute - and the main chgaracter - just adorable! I own in on Steam - but I'm going to buy it here too. To support its great developers at least. :)

cute and clever but also a bit tedious.

This is a really likeable game with creative design and a very appealing art style. But it can get a bit tedous at times. Some levels feel a bit long, requiring to solve several individual puzzles in succession. And often one misstep, one drilled cube or one contact with an enemy can mean that you have to do it all over again. Especially if it was a particularly minor mistake that traps you in an inescapable situation, you really hate restarting the entire level and doing a few minutes of puzzling, the solution to which you already know, all over again. That being said, not placing such trap-puzzles or enemies that can kill you near the end of a longer level, would have been enough to solve the issue. On the plus side, this is one of those adorabe mind-exercises that will keep you going until someone finally makes a true successor to the lolo series from the NES days.

Rough diamond

Really like this game: charming, charismatic and first-class puzzling. The challenges/unlockables are a nice touch too, both they and the overall puzzle difficulty felt really nicely weighted. Only minor gripe I have is the massive variation in platforming (as opposed to puzzle) difficulty through the levels: most levels require no skill at all, but then there are one or two sprinkled throughout the game that are really quite tough. If you'd rather play a slightly more polished game without this issue, I'd recommend the sequel, "Tetrobot and co", but in some ways this idiosyncrasy makes it even more lovable to me. A real favourite.

I don't like puzzle games, but...

... yet I finished this great game! Perhaps its the history that make me playing insistently (the rescue of the hostages), the beautiful graphics (simple, but adorable), anyway... I really like this game and I will play the continuation -tetrobot & co. Ah, Almost forget, good soundtrack!

I tried to like it...

Wish I could get my money back. It's amusing for a while but then you stumble upon really annoying issues: relatively easy to lock yourself from progessing, really REALLY dumb difficulty variation (some levels are relatively easy but the next adjacent levels gets EXTREMELY difficult and need HOURS to actually get through - sadly the difficulty isn't a "solve a puzzle" type but has been dumbed down to timing series of events/actions PERFECTLY, otherwise restart level), inability to progress to the special boxes without any explanation why (I assume you'll be able to get to them later in the game which means that I'd need to go back...even as far as level 1). Not recommending. The only thing that I really liked was the cute robot and the noises that it made (hence two stars instead of 1).
