who said u need amazing 3d graphics to be having good time in game? especially when it comes to tactical games like this one, all you need is faithful representation of guns and machines, piercing armor ability, armor thickness, non re spawning units and you have been immersed in realistic ww2 game what i like the most is details of models (every tank that had machine guns it has it where it should have it if it didn't had it then it wont) every artillery gun has different range according to its real statistics in ww2, while Russian rockets are based on numbers the Germans concentrated on accuracy as i said the troops don't re spawn u have an option to refill units but when all platoons are obliterated then its over so yeah i highly recommend this game and add on if you like the challenge since i think it is significantly more difficult to go thru

easy mode is a breeze...but once you move up to normal the game becomes very well balanced and extremely hard. It demands you constantly think out ever move unlike most games that come off as a easy walk through. Highly recommended war game.

I bought original Blitz with my first paycheck in 2003 (still have original discs and all) and I never had any regrets. Sure, mission variety is kinda low and it might not be prettiest game out there. But big battles are intensive and visuals can be improved - plenty of mods out there

GZM will now be a full-fledged game, we will no longer be dependent on the old restrictions, as we can change almost anything in the new engine. However, the game itself will not change conceptually in any way, only various new mechanics will be added, which were so lacking in the original Blitzkrieg. All the existing maps and units will be transferred to the new game in full and slightly modified for the new mechanics, for example, the fuel indicator will appear in the game. Graphically, the game will also remain almost unchanged. Superb!. I am a bit picky with games. This one including all of add on games were spectacular. Hours and hours of pure enjoyment! Buy it and don't look back!
