Description
Ayumi, the gorgeous gun and sword-wielding treasure hunter, sets out on a journey to an ancient island in search of new adventures. While rich in bounty, the island is also filled with the magic of Chaos, being at the same time home to blood thirsty monsters. Great, great game!
I was expecting the worst by the reviews I read. Bouth it by a very low price. Man, what a surprise. I think people may not share my preferences. Hot protagonist, feminine (not masculinised [bad] or feminist [ever worse]), good storyline (not woke - even better, interesting), good virtues on the main characters, nice voice acting, nice gameplay ideas and nice animation. Delicious smoothly good and easy combat (just play and chill). Old game, yes. But a great old one. It deserves 10/10 in its context (time, genre and computer specs) and 8+/10 of games of all time. Wanna have fun without any bullshit the old style? Grab this gem and have fun.

Judging a book by another books cover
The cover and gameplay are copy pasted from x-blades which was a ripoff of god of war, so it will only really be rewarding to play if you played god of war and thought the gameplay was too fun and it could use some low-budget writing, hunted: demons forge graphics and the voice acting they found in a pile of refuse. Please note that I have not played this game but i find paying $6 for a 9 year old ripoff of a ripoff, when i could get a rom for god of war for free, insulting to my intelligence. p.s. I like how they crowbarred in ranged weapons that look completely out of place and look like they handle like garbage, add that to the list of things borrowed from hunted: demons forge along with the protagonists outfit.

X-blades Remake...
For the record, I've only seen the video on gog, and have not played the game, but with what I've seen this appears to be a reskin -/- remake with a few changes to an earlier PC game called X-Blades from the same publisher. Gaijin Entertainment. Same theme, treasure hunter woman in "skimpy " -/- not very modest clothes running around a ruin fighting monsters for loot, solving puzzles, defeating boss monsters, etc. etc.
