Blade of Darkness

What can i say about this gem. It has special place in my heart. The first game that forced me to upgrade my PC. Also the first game that was great challenge to overcome and also the first game that mocked me when saving, how weak or not i am, depending how much u saved the game during ur adventures. Im not kidding, it will call u names, well kinda titles, like Heroic, and so, cant recall others, i know only that, when u save too much, ull turn up to be a P..y, wimp a hm Cat, If u know what i mean. So even though u can save as often as u like, i dont think ull want to do just that. Trust me it kinda works. Also i love how every character has their own weapons sets. U can use weapons from other characters as u find them during gameplay. But ull be weak. in efficient the least. U wont be able to do combos and trust me if u master some essential combos, it will ease ur life a lot in some encounters. Ull get new combos as u lvl up, some are harder to do, some ez. Some of the easiest are very effective. Some of the hardest one can be too especially later in game. Also u can get find magic weapons in game, some are fairly decent, some are quite useless. But its up to u to use them when needed. Anyway, this game is epic a hidden gem. A demon soul game before demon soul. And its hard despite that u can save everywhere u like. This only shows that u dont need some fireplaces to save the game and still be hard. I love this game and play it when mood strucks me. Still id love some of this type of gameplay nowadays with modern graphics with the gore this brings, omg would that be glorious. Slayin in half an orc or troll, glorious indeed. It needs to happen.

Excellent fighting, graphics and atmosphere. IMO the best fantasy action adventure game ever made.

One of the best game I've ever played. Atmosphere, sound, graphics and gameplay were years ahead of it's time. Even now after 20 years this is one of the best game you can play. Blade of Darkness is hardcore dark fantasy action rpg gem.

Played the original back when it first came out. It must have been so old since it was loading for over a minute on my old PC and the graphics at that time seemed exceptional. The game hasn't aged exactly well in terms of gameplay and graphics but it's still a gem. It requires not only mindless bashing of keys but thinking in battle. The 4 characters are also quite unique so you can go through 4 times. The first time I played i finished with the warrior so I might give the others a try. Unfortunately there were glitches and bugs in the other version I played. I got stuck on level 2 or 3 and gave up. Hopefully they are fixed here. Considering all the remakes being done these days this will definitely be a good one. One can certainly hope.

its a CLASSIC and addictive, with those jucy gog tweaks, man, this is awesome thats what i call, an good old game (got it for free btw)
