Good idea, mediocre execution
You play as a psychic and her ghost sidekick, who together are able to help ghosts move on to the afterlife. To do that you often need to help them to understand that they're dead, and reach peace, before being able to transfer them onward. Gameplay-wise, it means you investigate their lives as well as discover their murderer, if one exists, in order to snap them out of the loop they are in. Sadly, each game of the four is far too similar to the one previous, for any of the four to truly stand out. It doesn't help that in order to investigate their deaths, you follow a fairly simple formula, with the only thing changing being the story of the ghost you're trying to set free. Having the entire game rest on the quality of the stories hurts the game, especially since many of these games only offer around 3 cases to investigate before the game is over. There is some villain that appears at the end of each game, which somehow connects all the ghosts together, but they appear so late in the story they aren't developed enough to be interesting. The acting is also not on par with the sad subject matter, and doesn't manage to convey the emotions of someone who led a rough life, only to be murdered, or of a ghost having to look back on its life and realize that it was wasted. But that's a hard thing to convey, especially considering the writing of each story just isn't good enough. Characters come off too thin at times, and their life story feels a bit too stereotypical to incite any sadness. More often than not it's the story of the hapless do-gooder who died wrongfully, and has to come to terms with death. The game is also fairly streamlined-you can investigate multiple cases at once, but there are only a few things you can do at any location, so it isn't hard, for the most part, finding out what to do next. You can advance a case without actually paying attention to the plot. It can make a short game ever shorter. It doesn't help that the four games feel more like two.

Didn't get eveything but good experience
I played the whole bundle, one after the otehr. I like how each story ties to the other. I didn't get the whole story but it was fun to play. I recommend it if you miss the old pixel games ;)

How adventures should be
The Blackwell series is the real deal. They are beautiful made adventures in old school graphics. I played through all parts and loved them. If you are into real adventure games like the Lucas Arts games or Broken Sword, buy this bundle!

Liked these a lot
The best adventures of Wadjet Eye and some of the best classic adventures of the recent times. Not all the episodes are perfect, but they never fail to deliver great atmosphere and dialogues.
