Black Mirror 3

Even though I have relatively the same game time for all 3 games this one felt like the longest and by far the biggest. The game starts right where the second game ends and from there it takes you on a long long journey to find out all the secrets of the Black Mirror Castle. The 3rd game is extremely story heavy. I love all the effort that has been put into the writing and the dialogs. The entire game felt like I was reading a book with a great story. There was so much going on! So much new info was added to what you know so far! There are even puzzles related to the story itself so pay attention ! The game has very similar structure to the second game where most puzzles are in the second half of the game. And I have to say they've saved the best for last. There were some amazing puzzles - very original but also very hard ! The've added also a button for auto solving a puzzle ! The game also has all the advancements from the second BM with the auto/quick saving/maps/fast traveling/points of interest with space The only negative thing I can think of is that they've added again back from Black Mirror 1 these unique items that you can interect with but you cannot pick up until you actually need them. I really hated that in BM 1 and they removed it in BM2. No idea why it is back again but at least it is only for a very very few items.

It starts very strong in fact. I think that the first two chapters are among the best and creepiest five or six hours of adventuring that I can remember. The elements are the same of the previous game, but this is more refined than BMII, which much better pace and a really uncommon dark, creepy mood. Then unfortunately with the beginning of chapter three the pace changes, the story gives way to too much puzzling which is not even hard, it's just boring. Storytelling changes from being naturally told with the flow of the game to being just a lot of exposition, and the puzzle / labyrinth is tedious. Saving grace, it pours down even more rain than the previous games. Four stars for the rain and the excellent first chapters.

I really liked all three games in the trilogy, as they have a unique atmosphere, not easily found elsewhere. But this last game was the best. I loved the dark and ominous settings, sometimes black humour of the main character and of course, the story. At last, it is finally complete, satisfactorily finished.

Well, if you've come this far and have already played BM 1 and 2 of course you need to play this too, to find out how the story ends. It's made with the same engine as BM 2. The game looks and plays fine, the puzzles were difficult, there is one I still can't solve, don't understand the logic behind it (underwater elevator), others are difficult but doable more or less. I would like to thank again the developers of all 3 games for creating this point-and-click classic. Now I'm ready to try the newest one

I just finished off the third game in the series and I was in general very satisfied with almost everything in the game. It had the same graphic engine and atmosphere as the second game and was kind of just a continuation of the second game and they could have been merged together, but then I guess the second game would have been a bit too long. I totally enjoyed this third game and it put and end to everything. I've only been playing the Black Mirror games the last month now and that explains something about the games at least! I'm totally satisfied with all these games and It gave me a very good creepy adventure all together. The first game was the best, but the other two are quite close! Some parts in the game felt a little bit rushed though, but I would recommend the BM games to everyone who likes mystery point and click adventure games!
