Black Mirror

Big fan of the original trilogy here. I really don't understand all the hate towards this game. I really enjoyed it but oh well, everyone can have their opinions. The story is really great. I loved it. I didn't have too many expectations, especially after hearing a lot of bad things about the game. The new characters (the same old Gordon family let's say) are lovely. I liked David a lot. The gameplay is a little bit clunky. I recommend to play this game with a xbox/ps controller. Playing it with the keyboard is not the best idea. I really liked the game and I hope that maybe we will get a sequel someday. I would advise you to try the game and not listen to all the things other people say. It depends on each individual's taste after all.

It's better to spring for a game controller for this even if you use the PC version. The standard keyboard controls are REALLY AWKWARD for certain parts which require speed and precision.

I do not know if I can change my score later but, for now, it is only star because, for me, it is almost unplayable... And that happens because I couldn't find any way to change the keys. I do not understand why most of the developers use the WASD keys to control the characters; these keys are near other keys and it is almost guaranteed (for me, at least) that I end pressing lots of times the nearby Q and E keys, and also others. At least give us the possibility of changing them; whenever possible I use the the arrow keys which are so much useful !

Why such a low review score? This game is not for the new generation who have no patience at all. Loading screen time is a problem only for those who are agitated, who suffer from ADHD. This game is not recommended for them! Also, the character control is good: you just have to think that you are moving the character from the camera position. Many old games are made like this, in which you move in the perspective of every camera. I'm glad I didn't take their opinion into account! The music is superb and includes opera with orchestra. Again, it does not suit for those who do not have the slightest musical culture. I recommend you to buy the soundtrack as well, especially since you can't find it in its entirety on YouTube. The graphics and atmosphere are superb, as a gothic game should look like. Those who have no patience should only play shooting and racing games. Don't make me to put a star on the CoD games!

I was a bit underwhelmed by this game. While pretty, there isn't really much to interact with in the environment. Off the top of my head, I can only recall 4 puzzles in the game, and 3 of them can easily be fudged through as they tell you immediately when something was incorrect. However, the voice acting was great. Particularly Rory, who was fantastic throughout.
