After 26 years, Beyond A Steel Sky is a strange yet welcome sequel. Not quite fresh enough to stand alone nor nostalgic enough to stir the memory, it nevertheless manages to thoroughly entertain if not thrill.

Linux version wouldn't run
The linux version wouldn't run on my system. It would immediately error out complaining about DivX. The wine version ran once, but then the next time I tried to start the game, it just errored out. It seemed like a promising game, but I couldn't play enough to know due to technical problems

Junk game with game breaking bugs.
Game has well known and documented game breaking bugs and I'm not the only one who has mentioned them. I have lost count of how many countless hours I have wasted on this title trying to circumvent them. I'm done with this. To think I purchased t his on release at full price. Now I'm stuck close to the end of this stupid game because the statelite won't appear near the toaster. Many others have the same problem. And no - restarting and reloading previous save doesn't help. So for a number of us, the game is just unfinishable. I didn't pay to be your beta tester. Shouldn't have released this buggy mess. And I should have known better than to buy it.

A complete disgrace of a game.
This is hands down the WORST sequel to a game ever created. The controls are garbage, and the moon logic of getting the achievement day badge was IMPOSSIBLE to complete even after watching the walkthrough! The devs should be ashamed of themselves, I'll never buy another game from these clowns, what a joke.
