Betrayal at Krondor Pack

Betrayal at Krondor truly offers a classic CRPG experience that fans of computer role playing games do not want to miss. One of the best written stories in the genre that goes into unexpected places and thrives off the lore of the Raymond E. Feist novels, an ingenious character development model that is surprisingly modern, a well balanced combat system that allows for different approaches, an interesting world to explore with unprecedented freedom for a game from 1993. These are just some of the things that make this game special. Few games have aged so gracefully and are so easy to get into, even by gamers with limited experience when it comes to old-school games. The semi-sequel Betrayal at Antara is merely a nice bonus, but it's nice that it's included.

Betrayal at Krondor Dated graphic and UI but the world is very immersive and the turn-based combat works very well. Plenty of side-quests and secrets, you will need to manually take some notes! Game seems hard but it actually isn't. Betrayal at Antara is a copycat of Krondor, better graphic but the UI is still bad. Unfortunately the game crashes often during cutscenes and there is still no journal for quests. More linear than Krondor it also, imho, have more difficult battles and lot of grind in form of road encounters. Imho is best to buy the pack just for Krondor.

Tip for maximum levelling and enjoyment . go everywhere but your destination before you reach there. It's a lot of fun if you have the time, and play games for the story.

Such a great storyline, I really enjoyed playing this game!
