Being a DIK - Season 1

This game was not what I was expecting. This was my first Visual Novel, so I expected things to be more interactive. It took little time to adjust and get into the story. The writing was good, and the character development was top notch. Without the naughty scenes this would have been an enjoyable story. I am looking forward to the next season.

This game is sort of a mystery to me, I shouldn't like it that much, but I do. Some context: I'm a 37yo married guy, not into porn or waifu type of games at all. I bought it kind out of curiosity. The story is layered and combines a quirky over-the-top fantasy with an undertone of realistic psychology translated in a fun game-loop. It can be provocative and unwarranted at times, but that's how mind works too right? Only con is that it's a bit rough around the edges, the scenes and soundtrack sometimes lack a smooth flow.

What to say 40+ hours. Played it 2 times because i wanted to go with different choice. Well :D i am gonna play it 3rd time. Its addictive to explore all the branches. Graphics are great, minigames etc. are needed to play to have better experience so there is no single problem with them, and i play them each Free roam. Main characters have deep storyline, and every decision what you make is going to show further in game. And this is the best part or game. P.S.: always avoided these type of games(storytelling not adult). After this game where story is interesting etc. i gonna jump into this genre.

I haven't played to many visual novel games, this is my third, and it's the second that I love it, the story and characters are captivating, the mini games aren't hard, but I skip (cheat with the guide) some of them after my first playthrough (I'm at my third play with 110h), and I have one more to do. And, by how my times I played this game, it has a plenty of choices with actual consequences. In resume: I love this game. If you like this type of game you'll certainly like this one to, and if you are new in this genre, maybe this is the best one to begin with.

In general it is a good game! Good music, cenes and story. But season 2 could be inlcuded to give more value for the money.
