One the best representations of the Batt
It is a very good tactical game in the battletech universe with a string orientation on the battletech board game, wwithout being a 1 to 1 representation. Tweaking mech loadouts is one of the main points of fun for me. While somewhat basic in the base game, this is highly improved by lots of mods like Battletech Extended, Battletech Advanced 3062, and RogueTech. While the base game and its DLC without mods still provide lots of fun, these Mods elevate the game to a whole new level and are very mich recommended. The most negative thing ist the long wait times. Loading a game, starting a mission, finishing a mission. Everything takes much longer to load and it should be. Mods of course make the matter even worse.

yes there are some balance issues, but overall a it has good gameplay, good story, A rating. it's a bargin if you get it on sale.
