Criminaly lacking in content!
This game has some promise but currently it is lacking so much content there is hardly any fun to be had with it. It's like a kids version of dwarf fortress with none of the fun, exploration, abilities, story, world, z-levels, etc. But its also not as unforgiving hard, though you are still going to fuck up a lot. This game will need a whole lot of extra work and a ton of extra content before it becomes a good game. And if you where hoping to get any information on how much food a person eats or how much farms really produce or any other numbers the game's answer is basically "go fuck yourself!" Sure there is a list with number totals but those only help in the grand scheme of things, if you rely on those then its already too late. It would be ever so useful to know how many fields of which crop I had to plant to keep them from starving per harvest, it would also be nice to know the yield of each crop because the game sure doesn't tell you. Or how many villagers are required to work on a field of whatever size, because they only tell you once the field has been made, little late then game, little too late. It also has some hidden mechanics you will never know or see (like fish populations) unless you read about it in a wiki. But even if you know about them you still can't see them or work with them, you just know the game can fuck with you in ways you can't see coming. The controls could also use another look over, turning the map around does not work as well as it should. Villagers look weird when they carry resources around, especial tools, when they hold those they suddenly become psychics with levitating powers. Its too bad the village you create doesn't really ever feel alive or lived in, there is so much that feels missing in this game.
