Your review criteria is invalid, GOG.
This is a port of an 18 yr. Old game that still includes game-ending bugs that existed in the console version. They have called it everything from a re-release to a remaster, but I don't see it as competently done. Given all the fallout (hah!) That surrounded the first release of this game, leading to the closure of two studios... You'd think this would be treated better. Just as Fable will always be a bad game because of the Acorn, your promotion of this should be considered a stain.

Highway Robbery
I enjoyed the Dark Alliance games (and Champions of Norath) when they first came out 20 years ago. They aren't particularly deep, and they almost necessitate save scumming for good gear in places, but they were certainly fun. However, selling this direct port for this price is criminal. GoG should be ashamed.

Interplay, an airport convenience store
If there weren't so many fun alternatives to this game (this site selling many of them!) I still don't believe that the asking price for this twenty year old game would be warranted. Interplay seems to think that they are the sole dealer of ARPG nostalgia by attempting to peddle a shoddy title (even twenty years ago I gave up on this borefest a couple hours in) for three or four times what many great games are going for now. Shallow story, tedious map design, boring enemies- get off of your tower Interplay, look around, and realize that what your standing on is a pile of s**t.
