Baldur’s Gate standard fare
Game is standard Baldur’s Gate. It is okay for what it is. If you liked Baldur’s Gate, you will like this, as well as Alliance 1. I’m not sure where people are finding the cheapest original games. A look at Amazon found several sources, all as high or higher than GOG. Also, remember GOG stands behind their games. Online vendors may not.

Overrated
While Dark Alliance II provides some medieval hack-and-slash fun, especially with a friend, this sequel is incredibly shallow in its animations, game economy and story telling. While one might argue that Dark Alliance 1 is a shorter experience, its brevity is beautiful in comparison to its successor's droning run time, with repetitive locals and arduous character progression. If you must, must, must see what happens following the cliff-hanger of Dark Alliance 1, this sequel will provide adequate narrative closure, but proceed with cautionm as, outside of its loyal fanbase's undying nostalgic devotion, Dark Alliance II has little to offer beyond tiresome monotony.

Mindlessly complaining about price
This a port of a game that would otherwise be incredibly difficult to play legally. Not sure what's wrong with the reviewers heads here, the game released on Steam as well and people understand it's a perfectly fine game with a reasonable price for what it is. Giving a game 1 star because it costs 5 dollars too much or something is childish and crazy, let alone thinking GOG is at fault when its not even an exclusive release.
