ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game

Great game for its price point to satisfy the classic Fallout itch. It doesnt do anything special or revolutionary, but instead focuses on simply fun RPG experience with a russian touch. The game runs well without any crashes or hickups and earns a top rating due to the low pricepoint.

Found the story dull, the pacing ponderous, and the UI clunky and irritating.

ATOM RPG is an obvious love letter to Fallout's early entries (1, 2 & Tactics), and I like what they've done. I could go on why it's not as perfect as it's muse, but it wouldn't be fair since my nostalgia will selfishly ensure that nothing will ever measure up. If you enjoy similar titles and can approach it as it's own succinct story and world, I think you'll enjoy it as I did. I'm looking forward to Trudograd.

I don't typically buy games in developement or pre-orders, but in this case I made an exception - even after purchasing Trudograd and the supporter pack I still feel the first installment was a steal! Heaps of good fun, especially for the fans of old Fallout games. There are some minor complaints that are drastically overshadowed by the good stuff and the game is definitely worth it despite a few shortcomings.
