Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000

I first played this game back when it came out. It wasn't the first scary game I had played, and it wasn't the scariest game I had played at the time. But it was a very unique experience compared to other games. Whether a Good Old Game will still be fun to play 15 years after its release really comes down to two factors: Whether the overall gameplay mechanics still hold up, and whether the graphics have become a distraction. First and most important, this game holds up well against the passing of time . And the advancing of technology. The mechanics (the gun-play as the Marine, the agile movements of the Alien, and the stealth and attacks of the Predator) are still very solid today. Although the Alien might take some getting used to before you are fluent in it's control. The atmosphere is very dark and isolating, with authentic music and sound effects from the movies. The graphics won't make you mistake it for Alien: Isolation, but that being said, they won't actively distract or pull you out of the game either. The lighting effects get the job done well by adding to the often eerie space station ambiance. But this being a 15 year old game, the architecture is rather simple. I actually like this, as there is less to be distracted by. But on some levels, the design can be repetitive. The atmosphere is done so very well that you really feel the isolation of the Marine you can play as. But there are two other campaign options as well: Alien or Predator. Both shifting the atmosphere of the game, and giving the player other points of view to play in the universe. You are alone as the Predator, just as you are with the Marine. But instead of feeling cut off from your help, you have a feeling of empowerment as you ARE the help. And as the Alien, you are the hunter, the one who belongs, and you feel antagonistic as you move through the world with very few limits (quickly and stealthily crawl on the walls and ceiling) to make your kills.

Remember playing it on on 3dfx VooDoo, with headphones in the middle on the night... To my surprise it is still giving me heart attack after all those years. For simply best Aliens game ever made

The game offers the ability to play as a human, an alien (xenomorph), and a predator. Each has its own set of weapons and abilities. As human, it's fairly straightforward horror-shooter. As alien, you get to go from a facehugger to a new-born chestbuster, for an adult xenomorph. As predator, you get to hunt both humans and xenos. All have to solve some fairly simple puzzles, but it diversifies the gameplay somewhat, which is good. Fun game in its own right, but the graphics haven't aged well at all, so it'll be a turn-off for quite a few people, I think. Some areas are rather dark, which can be somewhat annoying, but the game is atmospheric.

Good Day, On this time of the 14th of April 2017,I will be reviewing Aliens Versus Predator classic 2000. This game has 3 titles Alien Versus predator,Aliens Versus Predator Gold Edition,and finally Alien Versus Predator Classic 2000. Of Course this is a reskin of AVP Gold which is a good think as it has the save feature as the original did not! I own the original and It stopped working but i am happy to say this has been Faithfully recreated here.Not only is the game perfectly matched to that of its counterpart. It is also very accurate to the franchise. The game is DRM FREE! which means you don't have to accsess Gog.com to play it. I originally bought it for steam. And I hated it. This one fixes that problem as you can click on the thumbnail and get right into the game. Not only is the steam one strict but its also unreliable as you never knew it was going to accually show up or not. This one is superfast and IS THE GOLD EDITION.
