Amazing game. So beautiful! I love the style and scenery. The game is truly magnificent. Audio is also very nice, making this very immersive. Combat is both easy to pick up and extremely deep, with infinite customization options if you're into this. PVE is pretty short, admittedly, but it's still a very nice experience, that you can repeat a couple of times too with different characters to learn different styles. Then you continue with PVP which is very well designed. Sure you can get destroyed a few times and feel hopeless but you get good intense battles most often, which give you a rush of adrenaline, and push you to improve, change your deck and tactics, adapt to your opponents. Last but not least there is the game within the game, of "Fabsolver", namely styling your character by collecting pretty or rare equipment that you mix and match to be both deadly and beautiful. You only ever truly win in PVP if you outmatch them both in fighting and in style :) Ignore all this negativity, get the game and have a great time.

i like fighting games such as the super smash games ive played on 3DS and switch! but this game is good for so long but it gets kinda repetitive imo after the first 2 hours. but.?. i do not regret buying this as this was only on sale for 6$. but atleast its decent!

It's a really good game, but it's really hard to connect to the servers. The solo campaign is fun, but it's short, so without the online experience it's impossible to enjoy the full extend of the game. That being said, it's really fun and unique, I think that the fighting is better than Dark Sould and For honor, being a mix between those and addin a bit more of customization (like deck building) which is really great. As soon as they improve the server I will update this to 5 stars without any doubt.

Really enjoying playing this game, when you get it right you fell like a complete badass. It's a tough game to get into and takes a while to master and can feel quite frustating with how unforgiving it can be, you will die over and over again. The fighting is bueatifully animated with attacks feeling like they pack a punch. I choose the dodgey fast build, but some of the attacks feel poorly telegraphed compared to Chivalry or Mirage making dodging in the right direction painful and clumsy. The game world is really well designed and really pretty in places, and I love the low poly aesthetic. However, navigating the world is a complete pain and you will run around in circles for hours trying to find the next boss, the maps at the waypoints around the world seem to bar no resemblance to the world before you, and the lack of a minimap or a detailed map you can open anywhere is mind numbingly annoying. The UI needs some minor improvements for example a lack of skipping or fast forwarding of dialog or cutscenes means I often don't bother talking to any of the npcs. Another example is to customise your combat moves require you to enter the practice mode and press H which is a faff and feels quite unnecessary, also the fact you can't rotate your character in the limited character creation is strange and a minor annoyance. All in all i'm really enjoying this game especially with friends, however it is far from perfect and needs some major patching for player convenience.

At the moment I cannot recommend the game. It has some very serious flaws. Let's start with the PvE. The PvE is servicable in offline mode. In Online mode you are at the mercy of other players, or atleast you will get a very subpar experience. This is not because of the open world PvP. No that part is fine, as area's contain at most 2 other players. The problem is that the game is obviously designed around 1v1 encounters, and for some reason also every encounter is 1v2. Many 1v3... and some even 1v4. And the game is obviously not balanced around these types of encounters. While 1v2 is still manageable, when there are 3 enemies constantly attacking and interrupting you, it becomes a nightmare of slowly backing away, hoping to get some openings, while managing the leash range. But the main part is the PvP and that is were the game in it's current state sadly falls apart. The game is not well balanced. There are certain attacks which are practically must have. Then there are fast attacks which can be chained almost infinitely (until you run out of stamina). The counter to that is hoping that you can start a super armor move inbetween being staggered. Slow but strong attacks should be avoided. While they are nice guard breaks, fast attacks to the same, as blocking a fast hit takes more stamina than using said move. And then there are sweeps, which you should also have in a chainable combo. Which means hits coming either from the left or right. Those types of attacks can completly hard counter whole fighting styles, which are the dodge type of style Windfall and Stagger. There are moves the defense mechanic, and standard dodge, cannot evade. So those must block, and blocking always cost more stamina than the attack. With those flaws, from the 96 moves in the game, only like 10 are really useable in a higher end setting. This is a balancing issue that may or may not be addressed.
