Inspired by the Confrontation figurines universe, Aarklash: Legacy is a tactical adventure game. The player will find himself at the heart of the intrigue, controlling a group of 4 characters and leading them into battle across the lands of Alahan, Acheron, and the Behemoth. Final victory for the mercenaries is gained by the use of a wide range of powers which are enhanced through looting items and managed via skills trees which can be reset at will. Interaction between the heroes is also important and real bonds will be created between them as the game progress. Both fun and action await you in Aarklash: Legacy!
Take part in an epic campaign, mixing adventure and tactical combat, following a rich storyline that will transport you into the fantasy world of Aarklash.
Thanks to the active pause system, choose the best tactics to succeed in battle.
At any time in the game, dissolve your team and then recombine it by choosing 4 characters from the available 8.
Through numerous and intense battles, make your heroes work together using group skills.
A skill tree will allow you to change the skills of each of your characters. Find the best combinations to take full advantage of the possibilities of your group as a whole.

It looks like an emulation of a MMORPG as a single-player game, or as a single player campaign for that game. Essentially it is advertisement for Dogs of War Online game, which is also based on Confrontation figurines universe:

I guess, if Dogs of War Online is good and something that is enjoyable, then playing Aarklash: Legacy after Dogs of War Online might give satisfaction, that there exists game in similar universe.
Looking on reviews in steam, DOWO was enjoyed, while there were players. And for the same reason Aarklash: Legacy is not enjoyable as a single-player game. It has world and setting and mechanics, but it lacks good story - that is essential for a single-player game.
The game was fun for the first hour or so, but it soon becomes repetitive as you face waves and waves of similar enemies in uninspired terrains.
It got so boring I cranked it up to the highest difficulty to experience something fresh, only to find it more annoying and nonsensical than challenging. Some of the random patrols on the map are impossible to beat if you don't stop and read all of their abilities, while some enemies guarding key locations pose no threats at all.
It also doesn't help that the characters have less likability and charisma than a piece of wet towel, making you want to skip every cutscene, which happens to be the only content outside of combat.
If you can get it during a sale, it's worth getting and playing for a few hours. I do not recommend this at full price at all.
This game is highly overrated. It's too hard. There's "Action", yes, but no "Roleplaying". Not even "Tactic". Only Skill-clicking. Again and again. No background, no story, nothing. Looks nice though.
Well it would be interesting to know if game makers nowadays test their games properly.
Probably not, or they would have noticed that massive mouse lag. It may not be massive, just a few milliseconds, but it's the same as in ES:SKYRIM. It makes the game impossible to play / enjoy. And guess what? There's no patch or solution available whatsoever.
So this is another, probably good game ruined by a tiny little thing.
Shame, really. It's like building a great car and forgetting the steering wheel.
