Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other. As they struggle to survive against overwhelming odds, they will fight to find purpose in this brutal, unforgiving world.

1349. The plague ravages the Kingdom of France. Amicia and her younger brother Hugo are pursued by the Inquisition through villages devastated by the disease. On their way, they will have to join forces with other children, and evade swarms of rats using fire and light. Aided only by the link that binds their fates together, they will face untold horrors in their struggle to survive.
As their adventure begins… the time of innocence ends.

Stunning art, endearing cast

I've not been taken away by the gameplay. It's OK, a bit repetitive, never really exciting, never furstrating either. The final boss was cool though. The story is also average. This supernatural plot with the church as arch-ennemy is really cliché, and the ending is not satisfactory. Seriously, I would have prefered for a more "historical" perspective on the plague, but well... Now, from an "artistic" point of view, the game blew me away. The animation (of the characters and the rats), the atmosphere, the music, give it a unique feel and identity. The characters also grew on me and I really cared about them, no matter how cringy "The inquisition" may be. Overall, a very good experience.

Immersive story

One of the best games I've ever played. It's gorgeous with great cinematography, excellent voice acting, engrossing story, and immersive. A little too much knight hunting for me, as I'm not an action fan, but I enjoyed the variety of action. That's why I didn't give it a 5. Every thing else gets high marks from me. If you're a puzzle fan, maybe this isn't a game for you.

linear, yet fun

game offers very little freedom (if any at all), yet i had great time playing this game. story holds some interesting secrets till quite late stage, characters seem real persons and game has pretty grim atmosphere... if i had to nag on something, i'd say that lack of proper fear caused by rats. they are too predictible, there are almost no moments in game where my heart was beating faster

The Best Game of 2019

It is not a major game. But there is no need to hesitate to buy. Compared to any giant game, it gives you not lacking in value. Deep story, charming characters, simple controls, good BGM... And even the very attractive graphics make this game lovely. It's a game that I really want to recommend. Don't hesitate to play with us.

Breath of fresh air

Not a hard game but I've enjoyed playing every minute of it. Unique. Good story, combat, and is a game I wanted to complete, which is rare for me.
