Description
From the creator of To the Moon: A Bird Story is a simple, surreal short about a boy and a bird with a broken wing. Its sole purpose is to tell a story, and can be viewed as a narrative/animation with interactivity -- but without a line of dialogue.

It is a standalone game with its own beginning and endings; but for those who's played To the Moon, the boy eventually grows up to become the next patient in the series.
  • A story-driven experience with no dialogues
  • A mix between adventure game elements and classic RPG aesthetics
  • An original soundtrack tailored to the narrative
  • An espresso execution with no time drains.

Short but sweet

This is a very short game (~1h) that brings the same atmosphere from "To the Moon". Similarly, it is almost completely narrative-driven, with some interactions along the way. If you want more consequence for your actions, this may not be a game for you. For me, it was a nice prequel to "Finding Paradise", which is in my list to start soon.

Not much to lose, a lot to feel.

This is one of those rare titles where it's not about the gameplay at all, but the experience of reliving these events with the boy remembering them. To that end, despite it being so short and really so little of a game itself, I would recommend checking this out. If you enjoy it, you will walk away after experiencing an endearing tale of friendship. If you don't, you wasted $4 and a little over an hour of your life in total. Nothing much to lose, but potentially a great memory of your own to gain.

Not really a game

I don't know what it is but it is not a game, player's interactivity is minimal and straightforward. Nice music though. I read the same kind of reviews, but I don't remember why I bought it

Ok animated story, but no game

An ok story, but don't expect any game play. The story is linear with no choices left to the player. The only interaction is to move between the self playing segments. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew it wasn't a game at all.

Nice little story

If you have "played" the game "To the Moon" and thought that had too little playing mechanics - this has even less. It is mostly cinematic with occassional walking with no texts - all small communications are shown as little pictures. Still, this is nice story that lasts around 1 hour. Not anywhere as emotional and captivating as "To the Moon", it feels more like side project, which it probably is in the end. Though person you control in this game is client in "Finding paradise". For what it is and with beautiful soundtrack, i have no regrets.
