Final Evolution is an updated Version of the Base Game and was released for Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube.
World Soccer: Winning Eleven 6 Final Evolution features six game modes, including single matches, training, various cup tournaments, and a Master League, in which the player can select a team to compete in various competitions and partake in the transfer market. The Winning Eleven (Pro Evolution Soccer) series is an evolution, on the part of KONAMI. But it is also an evolution for the whole gaming industry.
Some of the ball physics in this game, will compete with any current title. The way the ball deflects off the post or an oncoming defender, or the way it bobbles along the ground on a dry pitch.
The tussles for possesion, the slide tackles, the timing & positiong required to both score & defend.
It truly is a simulation, moreso than a game.
I appreaciate the GOG team for considering this classic milestone of football gaming.

The story takes place in a parallel dimension, where prehistoric life thrives alongside diverse human civilizations that are not technologically advanced. As a result, dinosaurs take the place of traditional wildlife and livestock, though some of the dinosaurs in-game are highly stylized and not necessarily scientifically accurate. Wild-living dinosaurs can be hunted for food, though some are of dangerous and aggressive species and will attack any player unit that wanders too close. Other prehistoric creatures make an appearance as well, for example woolly mammoths are used where other games might feature elephants.
