This is another great game of a great series though I will admit it has it's minor flaws. The one of the real issues is the plot is a bit hashed out from it being a contractual obligation game and it used set pieces from what they were wanting to do for what would become Omega Strain, and puting it in a mostly prequel base. The other is the models looking overly detailed in comparison to the other games, what I think is also consequence of reusing assets and character designs for a PS2 game chasing realism and slapping it on character models that were made for the slight stylized styles of 1 and 2. One that some might count as a negative is the soundtrack going from the electronic/synth sounds to an orchestal one, but I personally like it and is another thing that it shares with Omega Strain. The Afghanistan soundtracks and missions are some of my favorites. All in all it's still as great as the other games that came before with a couple new extra weapons to play with too (save the yakuza with the purple shirt), new and different maps for the 2 player deathmatch mode, and even a minigame mode with a good variety of maps with 5 core mini games.
