Infinity Moment should be preserved, especially since (Re:) Hollow Fragment should not be considered a replacement, as its design and visuals (which are broken and considerably less fitting) are different
Infinity Moment had lovely, vibrant art direction, as you can see from the attached screenshots
- the sprites and visuals were hand colored, instead of (Re:) HF's vector art.
- The gameplay mechanics of Infinty Moment do encourage the player to engage in the game's mechanics fully, as there are no easy ways to "stunlock" enemies, like in Re:HF
- The pacing in IM is well done, and it isn't rushed through, as the beginning floors have been crafted specifically to get accustomed to every partner
- the tutorial battle with heathcliff, is a brilliant way to teach the player the basics and it also ties into the Aincrad's story
- The UI lists even debuff duration on enemies, and it is a bit easier accessible mid battle, with how it is laid out
- The game is considerably less grindy than Re:HF and the player has much more breathing room in how to build the MC (Kirito), thanks to this.
- Chests are actually well paced as well, meaning you find considerably better weapons as you go through the game (something which ReHF completely screwed up and equipment chests are considerably worse )
- Enemy drops can be used to influence/increase the enhancements of weapons (ReHF changed that so those are only useful for the new "gacha" (RNG) weapon forge
- The map is better contrasting, as opposed to ReHF full blast light blue with white elements for doors, which is terrible for visibility)
These reasons is why I think, Infinity Moment should not only be preserved and accessible, because a remake should never be a "replacement" for the original, especially if it makes heavy and substantial changes (plus being rushed, which explains the awkward art direction on the remake, being released only a year after Infinity Moment` (with an awful initial translation to boot),
